I built toxrill as my 2nd commander deck ever - and after playing it for a couple of months I realised I didn't enjoy being the villain at every single table I was at. That deck has my current record for commander tax though at 16. Toxrill as part of the 99 though? I put it in all my decks running blue/black because sometimes you just need to slime up the group 😎

I’ve been tempted to build Toxrill. However, worth adding in Korin’s Bess + Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth to fit in with Toxrills ability with slime counters.

A fun combo I have in mine is urborg, tomb of yawgmoth + kormus bell. However the deck is quite hating in my friend group and local store.

Another great video! Though I do have a question: would you count a card that puts lands into your hand (like the front side of Vorinclex // The Grand Evolution) as a part of the mana sources count? I'm working on a brew and am trying to cut what I don't need.

I usually count those as card advantage rather than ramp, unless you're also running effects that let you play more than one land a turn like Azusa or Burgeoning.
