Let's Build A Brigantine! Barque Ship Building Design :: Titan Company Server :: Atlas PVE Ep. 1

In today's Atlas video we build a Brigantine together! More specifically, we are building a historically accurate Barque using the Brigantine hull.

Great video UTC. Your passion for this game showed strong from the very beginning and I'm happy to see you finally in and enjoying it! It is possible to mount canons without a mid deck. I did it on one design, though its a bit iffy. You can bring walls down from the top down, then ceilings out to mount the cannons. However you can only get 3 of the 6 cannons on each side without the ceilings clipping through the planks. The cannons more fore and aft, where the ship curves more will end up on ceilings that clip partly through which I couldn't stand. So I ended up with only 6 of 12 cannons total on that build. Smooth sailing!

Building ships,imo the most important thing is to keep weight down.A loom can be avoided by crafting maybe 1 emergency sail if one gets damaged.The Tannery is likely needed to have enough bola's when travelling .I don't believe in turning a ship into a working station,you always end up creating too much weight which slows the ship down,a slow ship is dead in the water.You want everything down low so they don't take damage,the water barrel has to be up top of course.I think the people who made videos early didn't realize the need for finding rare resources like gems/crystals and even the rares for other resources.The gems and crystals are very heavy taking up a lot of weight.

Nice ship, I believe you can put walls in the hold and then apply ceilings to put cannons in place. This bypasses the second deck.

Very interesting take on the brig. It is definitely perfect for transporting animals. We recently tamed a bunch of elephants and took 4 of them over on the top deck.

Craft some wooden wall hooks in the smithy and after placing them you can hang lanterns on them, which you can also use the spray painter on the lanterns to color the emitted light.

Several weeks later,we are still having a serious problem with zoning the 2 large ships,brig and galley.You have to zone very slowly and even then if any lag occurs during,you will likely lose a pet or 2 or a npc crew or 2.Often they will give you a very short window ,have to maybe jump in water and quickly whistle them to stay VERY close.If not done quick enough they will bounce through the sky until they disappear or warp back to the zone line somewhere.I have doing a lot of checking recovered 2 large pets i could see,an ele and a giraffe floating up n down right on the zone line but took some serious searching because they might be 100 ft from the line or right on the line and will warp back n forth between zone lines.How the Atlas team doesn't know about these issues and/or have not addressed them boggles my mind,instead they want to bring us a submarine that VERY few will ever use.

The dinghy and diving attachments drove me nuts when I was building my brig, too. They're so big and only have four possible attachment points, so you're pretty much doomed to having them clip with rigging unless you just don't build as many sails. I'm actually pretty impressed you got the loom in that tiny space. I did a three deck brig, and it wouldn't let me place the loom at all due to it clipping with the deck above it, but I never tried placing the loom on the lowest deck. Just out of curiosity, did you try/consider using roofs (snapped to the long sides of the opening) to cover part of the ramp down into your ship? Might've given it more of a Noah's ark look.

Wonderful shipbuild! the closest we have to a Bowsprit is the items that are cosmetic only in nature sold by the roving merchant vessels, alas, they still miss the stay sails on the bow.

You can place a deck there but press T to place an empty one so it just puts a border around the edge to snap ceilings to.

I don't mean to interrupt this but I know how the Brigantine looks and I can tell you what you can do all right the sale of the Mainsail is A3 sale the one on the on the front is a for-sale then you're going to need a one of those have you the triangle sale but have it rigged don't put a pole there have it rick 22 it and then have you a triangle sale connected to the back when you do that if they will allow a battering ram on the front do that because if you do that it packs a punch against your enemy ships and she's going to need broadside cannons you're going to need motors rounds you're going to need change shots you're going to need explosive cannonballs and you're also going to need armor plating but remember put armor plating below the hall and put armor plating around the Canon areas then you're going to need to put the armor plating at the front and out the back but don't overdo it because it makes the ship look more beautiful and it suits your style when you're done and when you look at the finished product it will suit you you can choose what color you want but if I were you I would recommend painting it red with a gold trim on there and I'm telling you if you do that it will look good and paint the sales gilded gold and then have them put on and then take it on itsy trials to see how it does and I'm telling you oh and also don't forget have the rudder just big enough not too big to actually wear it can steer properly you do that it look good and it will be beautiful because I have a game called Assassin's Creed Black Flag use that game as a reference so you'll know how to build the ship but think of what the inside of the cargo hold would look like think of what it would have looked like and make sure the Captain's Quarters matches in the game put a ship model a model ship of the checked or on the side and it have yourself a mannequin thing on the other side and input you a map on top of the table and put you a chandelier above then put you a desk near where the window is at put a deck put a chair there and there you go and you'll have your whole ship and trust me if you do this your ship will have a lot of Firepower and it will stand more of a chance chance make sure it is high in make sure it's got Elite everything make sure the Mast poles are Leach and covered with metal if you do that it will make the ships because the game actually tells you how to do it properly because it is trying to give you basic science the first thing you're going to need to do if it tells you to have the Captain's Quarters around it have the Captain's Quarters around it if it also tells you to build the build it the way that it wants you to build it build it the way it wants you to build it and trust me you're going to like it you can add a little bit of flair but don't overdo it because it would not look right all right I've seen many ships and Atlas and they look all right this boy build the actual Queen and revenge in the game and it looks incredible and its Firepower is incredible so if you do this if you follow the instructions OK tell you some instructions alright follow these instructions to the letter if you ever decide to build another ship step one build the kill and the ribs step to build the bottom deck second deck and top deck and step 3 have the whole have the whole covered and then use find the movie on Stranger Tides so you'll know what you're looking at after you do this you need to go on ahead and paint the hall first paint the hall first and then have yourself and build the Captain's Quarters build the captain's cabin near it then put the put the steering wheel on top like in the movie but make sure that everything matches up to top-to-bottom everything has to match in the game and I would really like it that boy did build it the way he wanted it but I would have preferred that if I got to see the inside and outside of the ship and it's got a match in the movie please I'm begging you I really really really really really want to have that game but unfortunately I am permanently suspended on my fault on my PlayStation 4 I can't play anything online but I can play offline games that is about it so if you read this comment I would really appreciate it if you do it
