Please start a SERIES on different components/SERVICES of a streaming platform like youtube. Each component (Live streaming, Video uploading, Video playback and Video downloading, everything at different resolutions, Video Search Engine, Encoder, Transcoder) has a different system design and implementation and I think you are the perfect instructor for this. You seem to be one of the most knowledgeable guy for this on YT. Right now everyone wants to add a KZbin clone on their resume but we lack the proper resources to study all the above. Congratulations. Sir aapka academic qualification kya tha I don't have graduation degree in science I have studied 12th in science after that I became assistant auditor and currently working as an accountant with decent salary. Great video❤️🔥. I was just looking how to create a video streaming project. Actually, I also have one more idea for research which is "Version Control for videos" which would work similar like Git(but for videos). High level idea is, divide video into small parts and somehow figure out whether every part of video is edited from the previous version or not. If edited, then push only that part of the video to our server, otherwise don't push. Dont know how to create it but trying to research on that.

3:42 chhota muh badi baat but KZbin does not use ffmpeg, at the scale at which they operate it would be too slow / expensive. They use custom hardware just for encoding. fyi they have to transcode over 500h of videos per minute. So multiple that by all the formats they support
