Let's build a special DIY chrome spinner for your model airplane!

Ein Spinner fürs Modellflugzeug ist rasch gebaut, sogar in cooler Chrom-Optik. Hier zeige ich, wie ich meine Spinner selber baue. Immer jeweils auf das betreffende Flugzeug zugeschnitten.
Bei dem Baumaterial handelt es sich um PUR-Kunststoffblockmaterial in der Dichte von ca. 150. Eine Bezugsquelle ist Modulor, und hier der Link:

Es geht aber ebenso mit Styrodur oder Styropor.
Das Klebeband für die Oberfläche ist ein Aluminiumklebeband, welches man zum Abdichten von Folien im Dämmbereich des Baumarktes bekommt.

Need a spinner for your model airplane? Simply build it by yourself, especially when it's shape or design can not be not out-of-the-shelf.
In this video I show you an easy way, even with a cool chrome-finish.
The build material is PUR-syling foam, whereas you can also take styrofoam of any kind.
The aluminium adhesive tape is normally used for home insulation purposes. You should get it in a hardware shop.

@@HilmarLange Solange man anfängt und nicht gleich wieder aufhört ist dies schon einmal ein Anfang. Wie viele Jugendliche fangen mit dem vermeintlich einfachen Modellbau an und sind dann überfordert. Die einen technisch, die anderen finanziell. Ich hatte mir das auch am Anfang einfacher vorgestellt - so ein Fliegerchen am Himmel ................. das ist doch einfach. Bis ich dann in den Genuss gekommen bin, das erste mal meinen Amigo selber zu steuern. Danach hatte ich "Schüttellähmung" und der Puls schoss durch die Decke.

Ich mag an den Dreiblatt-Propellern, dass sie ein angenehmeres Geräusch produzieren und "bergab" besser bremsen wenn man vom Gas geht. Ansonsten finde ich sie einfach prinzipiell schick, aber das ist mein subjektiver Eindruck. Ein gut ausgewählter Zweiblatt-Propeller ist keineswegs schlechter, zumal man dabei auch noch eine viel größere Auswahl am Markt hat und dadurch die Feinabstimmung des Antriebes erleichtert wird. Rein theoretisch haben weniger Blätter sogar eine höhere Effizienz. Auch wenn es um höhere Fluggeschwindigkeit geht, sind weniger Blätter von Vorteil. Ich würde Deine Frage also nicht mit einem pauschalen Urteil beantworten. Für mich zählt der Gesamteindruck des Modells, und wenn mir ein Dreiblatt-Propeller da besser gefällt, ziehe ich ihn in dem jeweiligen Fall vor. Gruß Hilmar.

I can buy the material in Germany at modulor.de under the brand name SikaBlock. A density of 150~240 g/m³ is suitable. Because I glued the spinner on with UHU por, I can dissolve the glue at any time with a few drops of petrol (ZIPPO-fluid). The spinner then comes off easily.

Если двигатель не слишком сильно перегружен, он на самом деле не нагревается. Поэтому разумно спроектированная установка привода важнее, чем подача охлаждающего воздуха.

Das ist PUR-Kunststoff-Blockmaterial, bekannt als Ureol, Necuron und dergleichen. Die Dichte von dem im Video verwendeten Material liegt bei etwa 0,2 kg/m³. Bei Modulor bekommst Du SikaBlock, da wäre das M150 in etwa qualitativ vergleichbar: www.modulor.de/sikablock-pur-modell-hartschaum-m150.html

"It happened, as it frequently does, soon after the application of full throttle for take-off. The loud noise accompanied by a horrendous vibration scared me almost completely out of my wits - leaving just enough awareness to know I had better do something. I immediately throttled back and pulled off the runway into the grass, not knowing if the propeller had thrown a blade or if the engine was self-destructing. On shut down, I found that it was neither. The back spinner bulkhead had failed at three of its four attachment points, and the spinner was on the verge of parting company with the airplane. Because it didn't break completely loose, the cocked spinner did a thorough job of decimating the front end of the cowling. Had the spinner broken loose in flight, the consequences could have been more serious, perhaps disastrous, if on parting it had crashed into the windshield or tail surfaces."

@@jazldazl9193 I've had a spinner fly away a few times too. Then it made a loud "PLOPP" and it's gone. Fortunately, nothing happens with such light aircraft and a light spinner. A styrofoam spinner is broken down into its component parts and that's it. Nevertheless, it is important to attach it carefully and to check the concentricity.

Unfortunately, this is not that easy, because the principle only works if you can adapt the spinner precisely to all individual parts. Therefore you should have the propeller and the hub next to it when building.

А если краш модели и поломка возд.винта, то как производить его(возд.винта) замену ? Ломать кок (он же склеенный уже)? :-))) Сомневаюсь, что этот кок заслуживает лайка ! :-))) Пока дизлайка ставить не буду,- пусть автор додумает крепление "носика" кока как-то по другому ( на шурупчиках или винтиках)! :-)

Не волнуйтесь, это очень просто: клей «УХУ пор» растворяется жидкостью для зажигалок. Просто капните несколько капель на край, и компонент можно будет удалить. Его можно снова прикрепить позже так же, как и раньше.

А что за материал такой из которого изготовлен кок? От растворителя не повредится ли он ? Где такой взять( найти, купить)? У меня кстати даже такого клея нет , в моем городе его даже в продаже нет ( кого ни спрошу -все впервые слышат и руками разводят (именно для пластика)).
