Are the two channels shown at different scales on the vertical axis on the oscilloscope? What is said makes sense, it's just that what is shown on the oscilloscope trace doesn't seem to visually represent the comparison of the two voltages (i.e., 1V on channel 1 appears double that of 1V on channel 2). I'm not experienced with using oscilloscopes so just wanted to verify this. Thanks for the excellent lab demo!

yes, the divisions does not represent the same scale. For example at 3.40 , at the leftmost bottom side of the screen, just under Vpp(1)=1.04 is the division scale for channel 1. It says 200mV. On the left side of it, it says 500mv. It is for channel 2 as well.
