Very nice build. I especially love how the mushrooms glow with it at 13:52. At 9:43, those windows are called "dormers" btw. I'd like to give you a bit of feedback. The castle is missing some key elements of a castle so it seems more like a chateau. Firstly, it's missing a very important building, called a gatehouse. As of now, enemies can simply walk up the stairs and gain access of the entire castle. (The keep shouldn't be accessible through alternative passageways.) A gatehouse is very important lol! Secondly, early castles were called motte and bailey castles. These had two key parts: mottes and baileys. While your castle is on a natural motte (basically a hill on which a castle sits), it is missing the bailey, or commonly called courtyard. Next time you plan a castle with wool, try to plan a ring of buildings, essentially, with a keep bordering one or more sides and a gatehouse leading to a bailey. (I will now lose all credibility as I do a shameless plug.) You can see an example of this in a video I made, in which I make a spooky gothic castle (similar to what you've done here [even with those windows on the front at 8:53!]). kzbin.info/www/bejne/h5jYfJqpZ7Cni5o (Don't ask me why I decided to make a moat at the top of a mountain) Please don't get triggered at me; I'm only trying to give you some advice so you can improve in the future. The window details of this castle are really fun and cool, and good, full interiors always bring a build to life. You can contact me on Discord again (arrow_2235) if you're curious about any castle- or ship-building :)

Thank you for watching! And thanks for your input, you just taught me quite a bit haha. However I kind of enjoy just focusing on the fantasy/aesthetic for this world, and don't mind too much if the architecture is historically improbable. But if I decide to use a more realistic build style for a future castle, I'll certainly keep what you just said in mind! Also, I'm not really picturing enemies in my world yet (in terms of the lore). That is, until I decide to build an evil fortress or something lol. Also, that castle you built is sick! Nice job :)
