Glad to hear you’re out of debt. I agree with some other commenters, get a bigger scooter. I think scooters are safer in general compared to an E-bike because you have all the lights and are big/fast enough to keep up with cars.

I want it all! But I need a little fitness in my life which is why I’m leaning on getting an ebike. But I would love a grom or a Yamaha X max!

So my honest opinion is that the Navi is ridiculous cheap to operate, it loves the stop and start driving like and electric bike "can" , but is the E-Bike as comfortable as a Navi is to ride . I personally like the Navi front rake of the steering stem in tight city traffic . So maneuverable . Wind protection on an E-Bike ? , never seen a faring on a E-Bike You seem to enjoy that feature. A good E-Bike is very expensive and they still need tires and brakes and batteries they have maintenance costs . And for the cost of a new belt plus new rollers 12 gram weights ? maybe a yellow set of springs ? You did buy one of the easiest and cheapest bikes to modify like a ruckus or a grom . If it was not for the totally insane amount of stops and goes in that city that the cvt drive just WINS . A bigger scooter maybe ? I personally am in more rual area so I got myself a XR150L $3000. MSRP . I now have a permanent grin on my face and I feel giddy while driving. And the scooter gods are about to double the toque and hp for what seem like the cost of a bowl of rice . Lol Modifying your steed as it were , is not a shame but of personal preference and expressions of one's self. Release the beast, transform the Navi to your vision. Ok I have gone too far . I apologize .

Thanks for the insight! I’m mainly leaning towards an e-bike for a bit of cardio. But yes, I wouldn’t mind getting a Yamaha X max for road trips and highway travel.

So I don't know what you're doing, but check the law. In California they can't make any job they want salaried, even though employers try. Many kinds of jobs have to be hourly. I get paid >$100k a year and I'm still hourly, still getting paid for OT and travel. I've always been an hourly worker and to me salary seems like a scam. I might accept it for a good job, but it would have to be at least a quarter mil a year to make up for the sure knowledge that they'll abuse my time.

My job is not hourly that’s all I know. I think I had to sign an agreement saying I will be paid salary. I don’t have to clock in and out anymore. Today I only worked 6.5 hours, but yesterday I worked 9. I just go home whenever I’m done with what I’m doing for that particular day. I kind of like not having to worry about being “on the clock”. I just hate that this position is more complicated lol

@@getphatfood Look up exempt vs non exempt (from hour worker regulations including overtime pay) California workers. It's not up to them to decide what's hourly or salary, and the fact they wanted you to sign something is odd. If they were being legit, why would you have to sign something? Honestly with my "hourly" job, they pay a minimum of 40. Some weeks I have to call up customers to find something to do for a day or two a week because I'm getting bored, they don't even assign me anything. There's good stuff out there but you have to know how the system works and what to look out for.

@@aluisious Ok. But either way, i'm going to stick with this job for at least a couple years to get some experience on my belt. Also, I'm not getting paid hourly, because I'm no longer an "hourly" worker. It's a whole other position than the one I had. My whole department is salary. This company is definitely "legit" because they took a chance on a food delivery driver lol. As far as salaried jobs go, yes they are legal. They've been around longer than you or me have been alive most likely.

💁‍♀️ Hope you feel better soon. Hit me up if you find a magic carpet. I'm still looking for one.👋👋🙋‍♀️🇦🇺🦘🛵

The closest to a magic carpet is the GL1800 , but that carpet is close to 1000lbs. Loaded . My XR150L is like a magic rug . And is only sub 300lbs sub $3000. msrp . does 60 mph. And gets 80mpg. A dual sport with a plush ride and comfortable seat . And probably a million of them in India . Other than that a XR190L would do or a XRE300 should do a good job . But a big bore kit looks like the first option available in North America .

💁‍♀️ Just trying to keep my licence. It's a police state. Here. As far as I can figure out, there are no laws here on magic carpets.,,, Pretty sure.We have more cameras than anybody now Per kilometre.,,, Pull over again going to church on Easter Sunday.,,, Licence check.,,, We can lose our Licence. on a E bike. Nmax 155,V1 Yamaha, Modified for endurance.,,, The rest of them staying there in workshop. They're not worth bringing out they could be Inpounded.,,, To sunny days just cruising around town.

💁‍♀️ Sorry, but I have plenty of motorcycles. I'm just trying to slow down. In order to keep my Licence. It's said to be that we have more cameras per kilometre in this state than any other. Melbourne, Australia.

Funny the first demo ride I did on a 2015 Multistrada, I described it as a "magic carpet." The power and suspension were both so smooth but also so much power available. I bought one, I've had it coming on 9 years now, only 36k miles because I started riding less when I started dating my girlfriend 5 years ago. It's still a great ride but I wouldn't buy another Ducati, the con rod bearings disintegrated at 29k and that was a $9k repair. I had a service contract that covered it but my next bike will be a Suzuki or a Kawasaki, probably. Grenading an engine in 30k miles is just unforgivable. Just spent $800 because the hose for a MAP sensor cracked. A hose shouldn't really crack on an 8 year old vehicle that's been kept in a garage and covered in a carport in moderate weather. I'll probably sell it after 10 years, riding the magic carpet has been a good experience overall.
