I do the same. I watch John Green play Fifa often, but I tend to just put it on in the background and listen without watching the video itself.

Yeah, I've been using that song (in one form or another) since like 2009 or something. I emailed him back then and got his permission to use it so that KZbin wouldn't flag the videos :P

Welcome back! I also made a resolution to comment on videos more although I usually uncheck the G+ box so you won't have seen that. I really want to make videos again but think it will have to be after I finish studying... and when the baby isn't so time consuming (ho ho ho) You know we are all here if you ever need to talk though. Skype is a click away x

Yeah, I don't post 100% of comments to G+, but I post a fair amount there because I have (oddly) like 3K followers on that platform. I suspect most of them don't read my stuff though since my engagement percentages are REALLY low most of the time.

I find I go in waves. A couple of weeks of commenting on almost every video I watch and then a month where I won't post anything. Weirdly I always click the like button if I do like something. Comments are good though! I love browsing through them. Wish I got more of them on my videos.

I still don't comment on every video. I don't comment on epic rap battles, or other million hit type videos.

How do you feel about comment systems on reddit? I myself prefer it so much more than youtube's comment system. But it seems hard to convince people to make the switch and comment more on reddit.

I love the reddit system, but don't like the idea of requiring users to leave KZbin in order to comment on a video.
