Great Job on the Vlog EV, you really have a great presence on camera. People don't realise how difficult it can be narrating a video as it happens. lol @ the spaghetti and meatballs in a can. Can't beat it. Tell your mom it really is sweet of her to feed the crew. LOL @ Tim with the comment about his other family.... i think everyone can relate when they work with family.

Great vid Evelyn. I know you're anxious about leaving home and moving to Georgia but we're good folks down here and we will gladly welcome you! I live in Augusta which is about a 2 hour ride East on I 20 so I know the Georgia summers well. You'll be fine and you will adjust. Just make sure your A/C on the truck works well and we'll be awaiting your arrival.
@johns93154 жыл бұрын
Thanks for taking the time to vlog your day and what you do also nice to see the other animals you have to properly, I wish you well on your road trip and hope it all goes well down there, you will have to get Tim to make vlogs of what's happening on the farm and send them to you or Claudia to edit an post once you've both left so we can still keep up to date on that, only been subscribed to your channel a couple months but yours is one of the best because you explain things well, the live feeds are great and you both add a little humour to brighten farming life up specially the last few difficult months. I wish we still had farmers like that here in the UK that bring you food when your working long hours in the fields rather than having to pack everything you want before you leave mornings. Ps ask your mum to send one of her rhubarb pies over as not had one for years 😂

Come up North to Lake Chickamauga in Chattanooga Tn and do some Bass fishing. Lake Chickamauga is a top ranked lake. FYI! Mableton to the bottom of the loop to your work. Will be longer than a 30 minute drive (traffic sucks in the ATL). Another FYI, Lake Alltoona is known as the dead sea of fishing. lake Lanier is a good time.

Ev, Claudia, and JoJo - You ladies hang in there and stay in close touch with one another as you go your separate ways. You are going to have some tough days, some real tough days, but eventually your paths will become more clear over time. Just keep your noses clean, work hard, and do the right things that you know you should be doing every day, and your paths will cross again in ways you couldn't have imagined. In fact, I think I know already how your books are going to be written, but you'll have to wait to find out. I don't want to spoil it. You are each going to be amazing!

You have your whole life in front of you young lady. Grab it and see where the road with no end leads you. Georgia. Hope you like flying cockroaches and cicadas. In north Georgia you get snow and what they call ice storms. Fun times. In the summer the heat rarely gets above 90, but the humidity will knock you down. There’s a reason that Southerners move slowly; humidity.

not trying to scare you. Don't think I could anyway. Just giving you a heads up I wish someone had given me when I went to Georgia. Atlanta will be great fun. Lots of things to do. If you don't know anything about football, LEARN. Collage football is god in the south. Manners count. Yes sir, yes mam. Stay out of the deep woods. Stills be a cookin. If you ever were curious what the inner circle of hell looked like, just travel next door to Alabama.

You will love the south. I moved south in 82 the day after HS to basic in San Antonio then after basic and tech school I was at Charleston AFB, SC The hardest thing is getting use to the heat with the humidity It will feel like you got out of the shower and got dressed with out drying. The cold is different also. wet cold . You will think it is crazy the way the area shuts down with snow/ ice ( just remember the south does not have the snow removal and the do not use much salt mostly sand) Also don't get in a hurry below the Mason Dixon line ( if you let it be know you are late or behind it just gets worse )

Covid school really sucks too, also watch out for Gators in the southern part of Georgia in the summer since you said you like fishing, Gators are ambush predators that like to prey on mammals at the waters edge of the land. Also you gals should watch a movie called "Witness" with Harrison Ford, its about the Amish and farming life somewhat, its a good movie.

In July it averages the low 90's in Mabelton. It is more of a "sticky" hot. The fishing is NOT great around the immediate Mabelton area , but you can travel less than 2 hours to good fishing. After 25 years of locksmithing in Atlanta I do take my fly rod everywhere i go. Traffic and congestion is going to be a BIG "wake up" for you as well as the diversity of people. Not sure of a big Farm near there.....Maybe out toward Carrollton or Rome. I think you would like it partially because of the food ( imagine 200 plus Chickfilas to start). And within in a 45 minute drive you can either be in downtown Atlanta or in the country. I probably forgetting something.
