I would like to see what the Red Heart Granny Square yarn would look like in say a ripple pattern as opposed to a Granny Square.
@Ladywolf2263Ай бұрын
To me, my opinion … unless you use the exact same hook with the exact same tension, it’s not going to come out exact. And I’ve heard other channels reviews and they say the same thing. But you might have great luck with it ! I’d say buy 1 skein , maybe you can get it on sale, and try it yourself. I’d love to know what you experience !
@ChiefK8Ай бұрын
@@Ladywolf2263 I've heard that too. I'm wondering what that yarn would look like in a single crochet ripple lapghan.

Hi Glenda and Cody - always love your videos - thanks for sharing! WOW - Congratulations on reaching another milestone - you did because of your content, and we all enjoy your videos, swatches and tutorials - thanks you for doing that! :-) I need to see if my local Joanns has any great deals! Maybe a mix/match of like a solid color and multi...and any good crochet magazine is great! Hey - don't fret about worrying what other want - they should just be happy in getting some happy mail! If they don't like it they can give it to someone else! There's no way you can please everyone - so don't try! :-) (my opinion only)

I am new to crochet and am so thankful to your page!! I made your towel toper recently. It is very hard to find someone to learn from that actually takes the time to teach what they are doing. So I for one have to say.... THANK YOU so much for taking all the time you both do to make the videos and make them where someone who is new can learn ❤

I really like watching you both shop. I order a lot of yarn online and it is very helpful to see the actual size of the skein. It was a great tip to hear the mixed skein is often smaller. I did not know that! Color wise, I always like clear pastels. 😊

Cody, you may need to bring an extra pair of glasses for your gma with you 😂😂. I just went to Joanns yesterday (they are an hour away) and the isle was SHRUNK! There was less yarn =___= im def trying to get away from Joanns for multable reasons. Sad but the company has gone so down hill that sometimes its unusable... I got a big twist yarn that was unspun for 1/5 of the skein! So upsetting!! The quality has gone waaay down :(

Hi guys, I wish we had stores in the UK like you have over there. Where I live, there is a market stall in the next town over, but it doesn't have a great choice and other than that, it all has to be bought online 😕😕which is ok, if it's yarn you have tried before, but new yarns can be hit and miss. I think that for those living overseas, the nice thing about you choosing the prizes is that we get to sample yarns that aren't available in our own country's, but I do think that the cost of postage is a lot for you to pay out. However, with gift cards, once you've picked the winner, they can tell you which country they are in and nominate their favourite online store that sells gift cards. You can then purchase one and forward it to the winner. At the end of the day though, the final decision has to be yours, only go with what you are most comfortable with. Thanks for giving us all this wonderful opportunity. Have a lovely weekend xxx

I agree with both of you. I only use Susan Bates and Clover. If I use a splitty yarn I like to use the Clover. Be careful if you purchase the Clovers on Amazon. There is a scam where you get knockoffs and not the originals. There is a way to distinguish between the two on KZbin. Happy crocheting!
