Oh man, Jamie - I love this collection. Those Christmas trees and the falalalala is amazing. It's all just sooooo good!!! Swatching my ink pads has been the BIGGEST time saver foe me when I'm pulling colors to match colors. I get out my ring of color swatches.... so easy. I am always thinking and praying for you and your family. Sending lots of ((HUGS)), love and light. ❤

I hadn't planned on buying this collection because I have so many Christmas themed papers. Then Katie Pertiet (love all her designs for 49 & Market) announced she is leaving for other endeavors. So sad, but I'm sure she will be successful in what comes next. I did buy several individual pieces (more than 2 of the December Florals & both plaids). I cannot wait for those dies & stamps from 49 & Market's collab. with Sizzix to become available. I have never swatched for a project. I've only dipped my finger in the ink and made lots of little thumbprints on the Ranger printables. I like the idea of keeping a swatched sheet with the collection or project. It sounds like a definite time saver, especially since I have discovered how much I love stamping. Sorry, this is so long, but I love your idea regarding numbering. I think it will help my mind-set to think of this project as "December Stories" rather than DD...I don't do well with keeping up on a daily basis. Just loving the unpacking and detailed organization ideas for this big project, right down to sampling potential ink colors. Inspiring. Agree on dropping numbers. I like to mix up when I tell my stories and put in the album regardless of the day it might have occurred. I dunno, but I personally feel sequential numbering is not needed when I am going to add a date stamp somewhere on the page, and not adding numbers eliminates the pressure of creating a story every single day. HA! I just put my ephemera in my Christmas ephemera book last night -- while watching tv with hubby of course! My theme this year is FIGHTING FOMO! Oh by the way, you sounded great on my Bose bluetooth speaker (especially the Seinfeld bass and music at the end).
