Hi Jamie. I just recently found your channel. And I am so glad I did. I've watch as many of your old and all your new videos as I can. This one came up and I wanted to say thank you so much for this amazing idea. I will have to do this hack. I would like to make my own book base so I can make the spine any width I want to accommodate all the ephemera I have. This is wonderful, thank you so much. I love everything you do. What a terrific insert! Deconstruction and reconstruction was so fun. I've seen SB's cups used in DDs, but using as an actual pocket that looks like a real cup is so clever, and you beautifully balanced colors that work so well with the spread. An amazing addition to your album. 😍

😂!! Only you can come up with adding a coffee cup to the family Christmas album!! Who would have thought of that?! LOVE IT!! I, too, am a peppermint mocha gal!! Surprised? I love going to the bookstore, ordering my treat, and wandering the journal aisle @ Barnes and Noble!! It is the only time I splurge on specialty coffee!😏. Thanks for sharing such a fun surprise in your album!❤

My goodness girl, that was an engineering feat of wondrous proportions, wow‼️. You should send a picture to the author of the board book! I bet they would get a kick out of this beautiful creation! I love how you put it all out there, warts and all, as you fuddle through. Of course the end result is always so lovely! What a fun memory for your family. December Album is it's own 6x8 album. Always separate from the other albums. Other stories right now are found in the Heidi Swapp Storyline Chapters type inserts. Those are stored quarterly in an album binder. Let me know if you have further questions. Thank you.

One of my favorites!!!! I'm doing my December album yes every day and doing Lindsay Bateman's Christmas Memorydex (which will be a gift)...and guess who hoarded 3 spinners? MAJOR MAKING SEASON...but also itching to do a major white glove treatment on my studio come January.

Yikes, just sent off December order #3!!🙆♀️. Merry Christmas my friend!🎄. Two more awesome pages!! Love the tag ideas, I’ll rewatch to write down the ‘recipe’ you shared, always love those! One of these days I will buy one of those beautiful albums for a special project. I had forgotten about the 5 things! I will REALLY try to get that done this week. Such a simple but meaningful way to get the story on the page. We certainly can think of 5 things to celebrate this month. Dave and I celebrate 43 years together tomorrow.❤️ Where did that time go?😃. Loving the 5 things. My 5 will be the best stories that happened throughout December, not necessarily any particular day(s). Not sure what I will do for the tags yet, but I'm thinking on it. I really tried to read the Book of Luke starting December 1st, but have failed miserably...so maybe those failed intentions will make it on the tags. Hopefully, there are no more than 4 of those stories. I am with you on not caring how many stories I include this year...I will be happy with however many I create. I'm of the mindset that quality is better than quantity...that's my story and I'm sticking to it!! 😄 I do admire those that can tell daily stories though.

It's all about doing what works for you. I love the "quality over quantity" motto. That for sure is a good one. And it evokes the slow movement of making too. We can get caught up in what everyone else is doing and think that has to be us too. And guess what, Luke is always there! haha. We still have Epiphany, so here's to reading Luke in January. No failing miserably here. 😃❤️👍
