The Queen of Cups mushroom looks like it has teeth, which is horrifying. If this deck didn't have the titles on it, I would have thought it was an oracle deck. Beautiful artwork, and nice flip through.

I am so excited to see you unbox this. I’ve had it stored away on my Wishlist but it doesn’t release her until the end of next month lol. So often the way. If you do read more of the guidebook, I’d love to know your thoughts on if it helped add extra meaning between the imagery and the meaning. Like if they mention their symbol choices or whatever. It does! Each card has just a small paragraph on each mushroom explaining something that links it to the card meaning. It's brief but useful.

I preordered this as well, after I saw a sneak peak of the guidebook and the fact that it wasn’t a pip deck. Seventy-eight mushrooms! I’m excited to learn about them all. The artwork is stunning. The card stock is definitely not my favorite but I spent a good chunk of time this afternoon rifle shuffling the heck out of it and it did improve. I think I’m going to edge it in gold to help soften the feel of them up a bit, too.

Gahhhhh, I preordered too as I love mushrooms. But sadly, as with many preorders here in Poland, upon release date they cancelled the preorders & it went out of stock. It's like we never get the supplies upon premieres 😪 So will probably have to wait a month or so to get it. But anyway, thanks for the walk-through, it looks even better than I expected! 🤩

Most of the reviewers seem to be complaining about cardstock (which is true) but I would love to go mushroom hunting!
