I fixed my dad's 228e Coleman lantern. There is nothing like the hiss of the noise that the old pump up lanterns make. I really enjoy using those over propane lanterns. Even though propane is more convenient. Thanks for the upload.

Great video brother. I had to chuckle a bit when you said take a picture before you start. I do that all the time,especially when I’ve got to do wiring. I do that too when I’m looking up parts for stuff. I’ll take a picture of the model number and serial number so I’ll have it and not make a mistake writing it down. You’ve definitely got the bug on these lanterns. New business “Minischetti Lantern Repair “. 👍👍

Excellent video Dominic. Yeah sometimes them screws and nuts just don't want to let go. LOL Yes that was an in-depth clean job, a lot better than having to do a rebuild. Nice shape lantern.

Another awesome lantern video! There is a product out there that is used int firearm industry called RB17, it is used for rust removal and deep cleaning, kind of expensive for the amount you get but it seems to work well. If I ever get bit by the Lantern bug I'll know where to go for a Remedy on scratching the itch.

Oh yeah! I never heard of that stuff! This navel jelly stuff works great, except it also removes paint! 😂 I’ve been experimenting with electrolysis, it works pretty good! Thanks for watching brother, I appreciate it!

Hi Dominic 😀 nice cleanup, and the lamp is is great condition, it was a great buy, you'll be a lamp expert before you know it. And after you've taken a lamp, or stove apart, and light them up for the first time, that brings real satisfaction , knowing you got it going again, a job well done.
