A tip for your next Black Widow (or anything needing oxygen hoses): instead of wrapping wire around solder, just get some used (worn out,/broken) guitar strings from music shops or musician friends. Anneal them with a pencil torch, carefully, to make them more maleable and easy to bend, and voilá! Instant oxygen hoses! Just cut the length you need with your wire cutters.

Great work. Just started building my Widow by Revell. I’ll leave this level of detail to you, but you have me some inspiration to try something different and new.

Another great build - I've got this one in the stash so maybe I need to revisit it....

Great Build there. The only thing wrong is the items your installed open are actually spoilers for roll control in place of ailerons and not air brakes. One should be up and the other one down or flat against the wing surface.

Yes I was already made aware of that afterwards, too bad the instructions told me that they were air brakes.

@@ofmodelsandmonsters Sorry if I was being rude. You did a really great job on a hard model to build. I don't know why manufactures don't do research on their subjects better, It make the builder look like a fool when he was just following their directions. Again I apologize if I was overstepping my bounds on this matter. Take care and happy modeling.

@@jamesdooley6560 No don't feel apologetic, you were just pointing out a legitimate flaw. I'm just a little annoyed that the instructions led me to believe that they were air brakes, I should have researched that prior. Thanks for the compliment.

There was a spec for all interior surfaces of the gunner’s, pilot’s,and radio operator’s compartments to be finished with Northrop Cockpit Green. For you mathematicians, 12 oz. black camouflage enamel AAF 14109 to on gallon of zinc chromate primer TT-P-66. This includes everything except the instrument panel which was dull black. From the Darkly Dangerous book.
