It is a great cover and I’m always glad to have new pictures in my stash. These ones are particularly nice. Small but beautiful 😁

Thank you for showing us your process. I often wonder how others do things I do and what products they use :).

This one was so easy to pull apart. I have a pile of these books so I’m happy to find them so simple to deconstruct. I always find people’s processes interesting too and, I know from experience, that people tend not to show it so often because they think it will be boring to watch. Sometimes it’s the exact opposite 😊

@@pennyrosejournals Everything I learn is via YT these days, so I really enjoy the basic basic processes, it's how we learn :). Im curious, do you get your books locally. I get them when we come up to visit, but that is not often, Not really that much available down here, which is why I take advantage when in the big smoke. Do you get to the City library when they have their sale?

@@aussiegal22 I don’t often get books these days. I already have so many but I got a lot from a recycling centre in town a few years ago. That was a lucky day, books were 25c. I often pick up free books from marketplace when I come across them too. I really have to many now so I try not to look 😝

@@pennyrosejournals hahahahahaha, and hows that working out for you lol. I tried a few op shops around the mandurah area, when we were up there a few years back, but they were not cheap, infact I was really shocked at the prices they were charging. Lucky for us, we had family in Amaradale and was introduced to an AWESOME one where I was able to get paper back novels for 25c, so when ever we visited Perth I would buy what ever they had in the shop. Wasn't passing it up at that price! So small book wise I am well stocked. It's none English books I would love to get my hands on and larger book pages :).

@@aussiegal22 that’s where I was super lucky that day! I got a lot of foreign language books. It’s called Treasure Chest Salvage in Bibra Lake if you want to give it a go. It’s a bit of a hike from here so I don’t go often, maybe once a year. I also find op shops in mandurah very expensive. They are very focussed on higher pricing per item rather than moving bulk stock for profit these days. They are no longer an affordable option for a crafter

I was trying to figure out the subject of that neat little book. I caught a word on the front that looked like it could be “Revolution”. Is it the French Rev? It fascinates to learn of other countries’ perspectives on topics I focused on in college and teach. There are so many windows through which to look. Ours is never the only one.

These are Dutch books focussed on the study of art during specific periods. This particular one looks at, as you guessed, revolution periods. It covers several such examples throughout history including the French Revolution 😊

I was thinking it's a nice cover, I hope you leave it uncovered. You must have heard me! 😄🤎

I have a stack of these books. You will see a lot of uncovered covers coming up 😁
