1st: 👏👏👏Bravo and hats off to you, Jack!! What an outstanding job you did!!! 2nd: Now let me tell you why you were so freakin' exhausted after every room. Only 30% of what you just accomplished required physical energy. Besides, you're young and go to the gym regularly. LOL. The other 70% is spent from the mental energy. Everything requires imagining, thinking, executing, rethinking, executing again, analysis, followed by analysis paralysis. You get the picture! 😂 And all of that is exacerbated by the fact that this is your 1st Halloween in your 1st house!!! Everyone loves Dean! That set up does him justice! I also love the bedroom with the haunted house stuff, I wanted the snowglobe and houses pillow but the HomeGoods by me hardly had anything interesting, all I was able to get was a skull-shaped jar!

On the off chance that you read a comment I made a week or so ago about the cat sign from the dollar store, I found mine after not seeing it for a year and the stick is just fine, it's the cardboard part of the cat that's a little messed up. Two parts that stick up are bent a little, but then it's from one of the cheaper dollar stores, so who would be surprised? I had mine in a planter, which is what you said you wanted to do with yours. I just would suggest if you put it in a planter that is indoors. Not that either one of us paid that much for it to begin with. It's just really cute.

You have so many amazing pieces! I think you can elevate your decor by adding more organic materials and everyday items. Using solely Halloween items it tends to look like a display on a store. Try using vases, greenery, candles, books, trays to create vignettes, etc. also using less plastics and more organic materials like wood and metals. You definitely had a good foundation with plenty of space, I think you should take advantage of it! Less small items and more upscale that take a focal point. Hope this unsolicited advice helps! Lol.

You could use a Halloween back drop. I got one for my kitchen wall I usually use that area to decorate for birthdays so for Halloween I got a haunted house with a cemetery in the front and creapy crawlers and bats and also a flying witch…it’s awesome. I got it on Amazon. I love it and always can’t wait to always put it up every year (2nd year that o have it) 😊
