Yep. Mine doesn’t do that. When I hit the Map button, mine only says ‘Mapping Mode’ and I can choose Notes or CC, not ‘Kit Mapping’ and ‘Input Converter’. The samples I load into those cells, don’t show up anywhere else. Your samples showed up at the bottom of the note part, mine don’t. I have the full version of SSD5.5…. I don’t know why mine is different.

Hi, I have millennium mps850 using ssd5.5 free version and I have problem with my hihat pedal. I need to hit pedal really hard to hear a sound but when I’m hitting it normally, I can see I have a signal ( orange dot at the top in the left corner is lightning on) please can you help me solve this problem? Thanks a lot

I have an Alesis Nitro with SSD5 and I cant map anything. I hit the snare and it's the same sound as the kit NOT the snare I tried to map. I hit the map button, hit the snare and it doesn't map. I have my nitro at kit 01, everything is hooked up right. Why can't I map???

I found a map file in a drums forum.. try searching for the drum map that match your kit online.

Great video. I also have a alesis crimson 2. But I’m wondering if you could just save a kit and load it into the alesis module without using a midi cable/connection. Thanks

I don't think so. You need to save wav files on a usb memory card and load into crimson. I tried it and it was'nt easy... now I just use the factory presets

Doesn’t look like it fills the entire screen. I have a 27 inch iMac and that’s not even going to be big enough. What would you suggest I do?

Honestly I have no idea. You might want to contact Steven Slate Drums support. I don't really see a solution unless they add re-sizing options or support larger screens
