Hi Ralph , I think cameras already here , the criteria is different in each company, but self driving trucks still long, long way to go before they implement them fully , if they ever, remember behind the wheel no human is reemplazable, happy trails 👍🛻😎 !!!

When I worked for Mclane seven years ago, we had AI cameras, it caught you when you were looking down. It caught you when you were looking up. It caught you when you were looking at your mirrors. It caught you if you picked up your phone it catches you for everything and it always says distracted, driving and it records you. Sensitive camera .. And I know someone who works there. They turn on the camera every once in a while to make sure you’re doing your pre-trip and post trip and watch you walk around your truck. . Also heard from another driver who works for Walmart been there for a while he said the same thing and he’s part of the Safety Driver Support.. Also, I don’t know any company that don’t have them now. UPS has them. FedEx has them the tour bus got them. The taxis got them. The shuttle drivers got them taking you back-and-forth to the airport. Everybody I see has his cameras and their vehicles and their trucks and their commercial vehicles so realistically it’s like you should ask what company does (not) have them?

Just remember them cameras r always recording. They say noone sees it but the people working for the camera company can watch at any time. Yes ur company cant but they can

If drivers are truly against these cameras then don’t drive for them. Massive driver shortage already. Refuse to drive for them then they go bankrupt.

And autonomous we have those trucks in our yard. We have three of them through those little cargo trucks with camera all over the place. They’re supposed to drive down the road. Stop at the stops and back up to the doors and the driver is sitting in the passenger seat there looking stupid compares doing all the work, we got started January 1 this year
