We went this evening to this casino. The 3 Shot Poker tables were not open. So I settled for their Blackjack option. I pretty much played bet minimums - $10 and $1 on side bets. Second hand dealt got me a pair of 7’s. And the dealer’s up card was 7. A 70 to 1 payout is a very good win at a Blackjack table. I later realized a suited 3 of a kind hand pays 1000 to 1. That’s amazing. Maybe next time.

Why do they take the #1 spot if you fold? Technically you have already paid to see the #1 spot.

Love the video! Interesting game. I have to be the jerk and take issue with your bets for the dealer, though. $1 EVERY time on your $10 bets adds 10% to the house edge. $1 on the $5 bet adds 20%! Short of hitting a thunderbolt from the heavens, you have no chance to break even, much less have a winning session. #3shotpoker

This is like a cross between 3 card poker and Mississippi stud. My curiosity is that you have to play the 1st shot, why don't they just make the 2nd shot a double bet (and have only two places to bet). Is this because you get paid separately for each shot?

@@BeyondBlackjack He had j, 3 hearts dealer thru 2 6s and A hearts. Dealer paid him for flush and took his top bet and said something to him. You had an A and 8 was folded and she paid you for 2 pair on top. DONT GET IT! It was about 3 quarters into session.

The top bet is for a 5 card poker hand. I had two pair, aces and 6's. Jamie would have only had a pair of 6s. This top bet pays with a pair of 10s or higher.
