Bangor is a city in Van Buren County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,885 at the 2010 census. The city is located in the northeast corner of Bangor Township, but is politically independent.
It was first organized as a town in 1854.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.90 square miles (4.92 km2), of which 1.83 square miles (4.74 km2) is land and 0.07 square miles (0.18 km2) is water."

I lived there from 49 to 62. 1st 12 years of My life. I remember a few of the places down town I remember steam Engines still going through there. I live in Florida now. Thanks for memories

i used to live in bangor mich from 1962-1980 and went through school there and i love that small town but everything to dye at 9 pm every night but the bar did you live in bangor to if so you might know me
