This is a super-nice full-size SUV, and Maggie described it very well. Infiniti nailed it this time. However, she omitted to mention what personal information Nissan/Infiniti, aside from Google, collects and saves from this connected vehicle, and to whom they would sell/provide/distribute that information.

Funny how she says price $112,000. People were in a high inflation recession. Good luck spending your money...lol but I do love large wide front dash screen.

Nice vehicle, though I am not in love with the HVAC controls being in a touch screen even if they are fixed in place (it's better than buried behind menus, but not as good as physical controls that can be operated by muscle memory) but I really, really dislike the piano gloss black. It only looks nice when it's new and it's a real pain to keep looking even somewhat decent (my car has it and I don't like it.)

Guess, you will be happy with the new 2025 Nissan Armada, it has controls for HVAC and even looks better than this QX80.

@@JoeBolt-w3z absolutely, I'm not sure what putz in R&D first thought of "hey lets put all of the controls that people like to operate while driving, have been in basically the same spot in most cars for decades and can be easily adjusted without taking your eyes off the road, into a slow-responding touchscreen that provides no feedback" but they should have been fired on the spot for seriously suggesting such a thing and I'm convinced that it's partially the reason we need all of these babysitting safety systems in our cars now lol

@@jeffb.6642 I agree with you I prefer manual adjustment, easy to use, safer and more reliable. There are a lot of stuff automobile companies are doing right now that are just so irritating and unnecessary. I still prefer regular shifter than I can grab etc...some companies are even going the extra mile to have "standard" panoramic roofs on their vehicles just like in this QX80 without giving options to people like me who do not care about panoramic roofs....I still prefer just a regular moon roof or none at all. I'm glad the new 2025 Armada has options for such things, the only thing missing on the new Armada is a regular gear shifter for me.

I understand everyone is entitled to their own opinion and preferences. What I don't quite get is the need for physical buttons for climate control. I drive a vehicle with automatic climate control and I touch the temperature adjustment knobs only twice a year: to set the temperature at 21 degrees C in the summer and to 23 degrees in winter. Also, I drive manual transmission where I can see the need for a stick to shift gears. When I rent cars with automatic transmission, however, I only put the car in D when I leave and in P when I arrive. So, personally I like the buttons for automatic transmission cars. I feel there is a lot of conservative reluctance at play here since people are used to a certain style, and that is okay, too.
