been marathoning the LDOs and I think I found one of my favorites... its halfway through 2017 and I feel like I'm never going to get over this series. I feel like yahtzee and Gabe made such an epic series that they just left to rot when yahtzee moved to America, and I know that he has his weekly 'Yahtzee annoys his girlfriend' stream on twitch and everything, but nothing ever beats a good old Let's Drown Out... I really hope you guys read this comment and understand how much of an impact you had on my life... I used to wait around the week to watch these segments so can imagine how heart wrenching it was when I saw a new video titled 'let's finish drown out'...

Keen Dreams was made by iD during development of Keen 4 as a game they could rush out the door to fulfill their contract with SoftDisk which stipulated that they had to make a game on a deadline in exchange for SoftDisk not suing the pants off of them for basically stealing all the talent and tech out of SoftDisk's games division in order to start their actually successful company. It is in an early version of the Keen 4 engine but it is definitely by the iD team and it does reflect Tom Hall's vision for a Keen game in the sense that chucking candy at angry anthropomorphic vegetables in order to turn them into flowers is exactly the kind of screwed up idea that Mr. Hall would have thought of. I suppose it wasn't in the "Complete Collection" for business reasons, since the rights to distribute Keen Dreams probably still belong to whoever bought whoever bought whoever bought SoftDisk.

I prefer the honest bantering style more than his snarky ZP persona, which I feel is trite at this point partially since every freaking person who scripts their reviews tries to be like him. I understand what he means by that time thing. Perception broadens with insight, so time to a being with an infinite lifespan would be much faster. Ten thousand years could be as ten minutes, and centuries little more than seconds. Take the Emperor from Warhammer 40k as an example; he’s so ancient that he predates the rise of modern civilization, but he’s also so unbelievably patient(at least at first)that he was happy to let mankind evolve entirely on its own for a while, without his help for a fair few epochs. Metal Gear Solid 1 butt inverted. The situation plays out where her entire team is wiped out, leaving only her, and it just so happens that I'm the only surviving hostage so we have to fight our way out together. And then we bang. 2 Bayonetta. She's taken aback by the fact that I'm not flustered by her sexually aggressive nature, and she's charmed by my sarcastic wit. So we bang. It doesn't go anywhere past that but we become friends. We still have sex now and then, but it doesn't make the friendship weird. 1 Ada Wong. I'm an elite soldier sent into an outbreak to rescue civilians, and I'm leaving no one behind. The gruesome carnage around me just fuels my desire to save as many people as possible. Basically, an amalgamation of Leon Kennedy and Chris Redfield. This is post Resident Evil 2 Ada, so she's not really a villain anymore. We agree on a quid pro quo and she helps me save as many civilians as we can and get them to an evac chopper before going after the person trying to blackmail her into working for him by falsifying information making it seem like she started the outbreak even though he was the one responsible. But because he's a spineless coward, he injects himself with a new strain of the virus when he finds out I'm on his ass now turning himself into a turbo monster. As a part of his mutation, his skeleton becomes extremely durable, but I'm able to shoot the walkway he's on with the grenade launcher attachment on my M16, causing him to fall into a vat of acid. This ofcourse doesn't kill him but it weakens his skeleton enough for me to blast open a hole in his chest with the Magnum rounds I've been saving giving Ada the opportunity to shoot him in his exposed heart with an exploding crossbow bolt. Afterwards, Ada and I don't bang. We spend the night making sweet, sweet love. The next morning, I wake up alone, but next to me, there's a note with a red lipstick mark that just says, "See you soon." I think I may have put too much thought into that last one. Honorary mentions. Lady from the Devil May Cry series. Juli Kidman from The Evil Within series. Pretty much any of the women from the Resident Evil series. Elizabeth from BioShock Infinite after Burial At Sea but a hypothetical Burial At Sea where she doesn't die at the end because that's stupid. Chloe Frazer from the Uncharted series. jake la ponder The new wolfie is a curious case. It introduces a bunch of stuff from both old rip&tear shooters and of all the newish shooters. There are stealth kills and dualwielding. There are also slow-ass plot moments and >sorta regenerating health. It's a hodgepodge that is surprisingly good. There was much more effort was put into this game that was needed to just milk the franchise. Even more than people could have expected. It's a curious beast indeed.

Well. You cant get all of the guys for the voices anymore, because of health issues. Gary Schwartzer (Heavy/demoman) is dead. The voice of the engineer is too old and didnt come, and the voice of the soldier has throat cancer. So the voices were done by Nolan North, if you played the game around halloween, he spoke merasmus. So everyone except for the scout, medic and spy (...and the pyro? it's the same guy as the spy) were done for this short and were not Nolan North. The heavy had a line, yes, but that was a reused one afaik.

The podcast is alright, but what is even BETTER is the "drink in a pub" kinda talk show. Set up shop outside the Mana Bar , a table and 2 chairs , a camera pointing towards em and just chat . I think its pretty safe to say not everyone here lives in Australia so... We get the amusing and occasionally educational topics , and we get to experience the Mana Bar.... 7000 miles away via the INTERNET.

The Commander Keen pack on Steam is actually missing two games: this, and Aliens Ate My Baby Sitter, both of which are tied up in different copyright hells thanks to having been commercially distributed by different (now defunct) publishers. Somehow Keen Dreams got an Android port last year, though. The more you know!
