Out of all the acts I hadn't heard of prior to Leedsfest, these were definitely my favourite. They definitely made some new fans after these shows.

I had no idea who these 2 were until I saw them while waiting for NF. They were so pleasant to sit through. I really enjoyed them!

Is their goofy, awkwardness genuine or is it a carefully crafted part of the act? Don't get me wrong, like this band a lot and seen them live too but I still can't work it out?!

My favorite album of the year, though this live rendition is underwhelming, to say the least. They both are out of key, and the instrumentation is so bad compared to the studio version .... They will get better with practice, I'm sure !

its soo weird bc all the times i saw them live they sounded sooo good like i was literally overwhelmed and on this recording it doesnt sound very good yeah lol

I play drums and the drummings in this are horrible. It's not following the tempo and the hittings in the cymbals and in the snares a pretty weak. Their voices sound very good but the drums and the other instruments sound really bad. This is one of my current favourites bands and this perfomance was really bad.

That appears to be the drummer from Savages, who does definitely not need any assistance

Was there for the rest of the set, thought the same thing during the song, then realised that was her only slip up during the whole show - she’s absolutely fine.

Remember when when reading was a rock festival?
@LenFreak6 жыл бұрын
Rock is a much more niche market than it used to be. It isn't the most popular genre of music anymore. The event runners want as many people to go as possible to make sure their popularity doesn't decrease. Plus, they're always trying to target the same age demographic every year, which is teens and young adults. They're obviously going to fill the festival with the most popular artists of this demographic. Back in the day rock was the most dominant genre for this demo, but now we're listening to all different genres due to the accessibility of it all. Rock bands will always be at Reading and Leeds, but diversity is always a good thing.

Remember when rock was at the top of the charts because it was innovating instead of being stuck imitating the past?
