Let’s Eat! | PRADA CAFFÈ Harrods | LUNCH, COFFEE & CAKE newly opened Luxury Designer Restaurant

Hello everyone! Come with me for lunch at the luxury designer fashion based PRADA CAFFÈ in HARRODS!
Newly launched on 31.3.23, the Prada Caffè is here to stay until 7.1.24 so you have plenty of time to visit yourself and it is PERRRFECT for those who enjoy cake and tea although they do not offer your traditional afternoon tea but can work all the same for a celebratory tea, coffee and cake day alike.
Prada and Harrods have partnered up in the same location that recently housed Christian Dior café back in December and Ladurée before; the new establishment looks absolutely beautiful!
I went for lunch and of course had to sample their wonderful patisserie so come and see what cakes we chose.
The Milan inspired caffè is so beautifully designed with Prada branding on the sugars, cutlery, crockery, menu and cakes. You will be in PRADA heaven. You can walk in or make a reservation but beware the availability was already sold out across pastries, cakes and mains even at our 1pm lunch sitting.
Prices are high; £6.50 for bottled water, £15 for a 4” square cake (but very delicious); I cannot lie, the menu is incredibly over priced but what you are paying for is the experience and a beautiful one at that 😍💎 therefore prices aside, it was a good experience if you are a Prada fan or if you want to plan for a special occasion for sure.
The only other downside was the lack of vegan options; apart from grapefruit and asparagus for £19 in the lunch main menu, there are no other vegan options unless you pay for a vegan side such as broccoli, Padron peppers or a salad, so that was poor on their part especially as more and more people are finding out they either have and allergy or an intoerance to dairy. There are some gluten free options but again not many.
On the non vegan side, most of the main dishes were sold out at 1pm although lunch opens from midday.
The cakes are what saved the experience from being a disappointment therefore although again if you are gluten or dairy intolerant they will not be suitable.

Hi Lynda, ah thank you for watching 😘 there is a constant flow of walk-in’s but mostly to just buy and go. If you’d like the seated experience I would advise you pre book. It may get busier as the weather improves but looks like a lot of availability at the moment 🌷
