@@mememan3447 lol my guy, I’m not trying to besmirch or lessen Matt’s involvement here. But Trey is the cornerstone of South Park’s success; the series has been his brainchild from the start. Dude has literally written and directed every single episode of the show, often singlehandedly, and has written and performed a majority of the songs. If one member of the duo had to be credited with making South Park as great and lasting of a series as it is, it would absolutely have to be Trey.

The fact the song makes no sense is more accurate than anime fans are often willing to admit. Japanese pop music from the 90s in particular was often made to sound good vs making sense and even would often include English words or phrases if they couldn't make it sound good with Japanese, you still see it done sometimes. This song just cranks that stereotype to 11 and done so beautifully.

The world didn't even know that we needed a south park concert. This idea was GENIUS! We tend to forget how many songs have been in south park throughout the years. 25 years of songs across hundreds of episodes. South Park already had a dozen classic songs before the millenium & the best comedic Christmas album ever. South Park music is like WWE, you wouldn't think you could listen to a wrestling album but it's a killer gym playlist. Stone Cold glass breaking, Undertaker gongs, nWo, I am a Real American, Wolfpac theme, the Rock's theme, Kurt Angle's theme, Viva la Raza etc.

The new extra verse added for this concert is a modified version of a Japanese children's song which is called "Tantan Tanuki no kintama" (The balls of the RacRac Raccoon). In the original version the first verse tells the story of a raccoon's balls hanging and moving even though there is no wind, and depending on the region where the song is told, in the second verse something different that has to do with some other animal reacting to that fact happens, usually humorous like the son of that Raccoon imitating his father and also moving his balls, or some other animal biting on the moving balls. In this South Park version, it is only the first verse, but instead of the balls moving even though there is no wind, it say the balls where moving because of the wind.
