I'm finally starting my first cozy beginner-friendly playthrough of Stardew Valley on the channel! Yay! This will be the perfect "how to play Stardew as a beginner" SDV series, so feel free to play along with me or just play this on the background while studying/cleaning the house etc! Omg yaay I'm so so glad to hear this! Stardew really is my all time favorite game, it's just so addictive and good and I dunno why I haven't really played it on the channel before 😊 but I'm sooo happy to see some interest in this playthrough! ^^ (I know the first episode is like suuuper long but I just couldn't stop before I got through the first week - next eps will be shorter hehe!)

I’m so excited for this! I’ve bought the game a year ago on Switch, but it’s just so complicated 😅 And I have yet to find a play through that is truly beginner friendly or vanilla or played on the Switch to begin with so this is perfect! The game looks so good, but it’s so intimidating. You make me want to try playing again! 🥰

I'm so glad to hear that 🤗 Yeah I totally understand, first time playing SDV I was so lost and confused and I only really got into it by watching a stream & following along 😆 once I got the hang of it I became more confident to explore on my own ^^ anyways, I hope you enjoy this lp & I hope I nail making it as beginner friendly as possible! 🥰

I play SV too, but I always stress too much about min-maxing. But if I try a run without it I get stressed because I can't do certain things when I want them, like the greenhouse first year.. Have you ever struggled with that? My fav bachelors are Shane, Sebastian, Abigail, Haley, Leah, may or may not be in that order. Sam is forever friendzoned

Yeah it can totally get a bit stressful especially when trying to kinda speed through the beginning of the game to get to the 'good part' like unlocking all the quality of life things, making a lot of gold etc.. but yeah I try not to get too focused on mix-maxing etc because it can kinda take the fun out of the game experience! Like for example the 1 Year Challenge can be fun and a nice challenge, but if I fail in it in this playthrough, that's totally fine! Import is that the playthrough is fun!! 🤗 sometimes we just get so tasked focused / want to play a 'perfect' run that it just sucks all the fun out of it and I totally sometimes struggle with that! But I just have to stop & remind myself that it's not always about playing 'the perfect' game if that makes sense 😆 Ooo nice! I like Abigail's story and I'm thinking maybe romancing Sebastian (or maybe Harvey) in this playthrough since I've never really invested much effort into getting to know their stories!

@@Cinnamilla I hope I find a way to control the grind and enjoy the ride, it's a real struggle tho I think Harvey is interesting! Haven't given him much attention yet, but he sounds sweet!

I am on my second real play though and I started about a week or so ago so this was a fun vid! Can you explain Ginger Island to me like I’m 5 years old? I’m still really confused about it!

Awesome! I hope you're enjoying your second playthrough 🤗 Oh my gosh have I been lost and confused on ginger island too! 😆 once I get there I'll try my best to explain it! Although I've really found myself having to look stuff up from the wiki because I've gotten stuck there a couple of times 😅 maybe my best tip is to invest the golden walnuts to build the resort first (if you haven't done it already haha), and not like me who spend the nuts everywhere else and then realized I probably should've done the resort first because later it gets really difficult to find so many walnuts 🤣 but other than that it's just a fun end game extra farm & exploration spot!
