We ate and ranked EVERY KIT KAT USA flavor released over the last few years in search of the best and worst options.
This is about 2 years worth of seasonal and permanent flavors to the Kit Kat USA lineup to get us all 18 varieties fueling today’s tier list takedown. With the exception of the original strawberry creme, this is every Kit Kat produced by Hershey’s released as of the date of this filming and it’s safe to say we’re excited to expand on the ranking list as time goes on!

Q: How do you not gain weight?
A: Endurance sports (primarily running, cycling and some resistance training tossed in) and extreme discipline & sacrifice with our daily diets is how we manage not to gain weight. We eat mostly vegetables, fruits, some whole grains and low fat dairy on the days outside these challenges. The calories consumed in a food challenge are the only calories consumed that day and sometimes the day following as well seeing our appetites are typically shot from so much food and the thought of eating is very off putting. Two days out we are back to large amounts of vegetables and increase to maintenance from there. We also often eat most of our days calories in a smaller eating window (we frequently bounce between intermittent fasting & OMAD diet as it just seems to work with our lifestyles and eating preferences). Anyone with a larger than normal stomach capacity like us, the drive to push through the discomfort of a challenge like this, and a basic understanding of energy balance (calories in vs calories out) can do it with enough disciple and intention (not that we recommend it).
Also worth mentioning is that we do not exercise to burn the calories consumed in a challenge but rather we are able to consume higher calorie diets due to our love for endurance sports and said discipline with our daily diets.
Q: Can you make a “What I eat in a day” / fitness focused video?
A: While we’re sure that type of video will eventually make its way out there, this channel is intended primarily for food entertainment. We’re still in the very early stages of establishing ourselves within this genre and we’re constantly experimenting and trying to improve upon our style to make our channel a unique experience. Food is our passion while fitness is our discipline so, while we currently only have the availability to produce one quality piece of content a week, food-centered videos is where we’ll be focusing our attention (and trust us, it’s more fun for all of us this way). Thats not to say it will never happen - it’s just not a top priority for us.

Yessss I love when you guys do ranking/tier lists of different foods! And funny thing is my top favorites are in your very top as well! Birthday cake, mocha duos, blueberry muffin, gingerbread, regular and fruity cereal are mine 😁 Fun fact: I have atleast 10 (or more) bags of those gingerbread kitkats! Again, there’s not nearly this amount available in the US - most of these are limited editions from the past that we’ve been saving for something like this 🙏 We see a lot of stuff like that from international Kit Kat fans who save wrappers from former releases. Oh man, if we still had some gingerbread or key lime we would send ‘em your way 😩 We can’t believe how much the key lime is an enjoyable flavor for us! Luckily, Blueberry Muffin will probably be around at least till the end of summer but we’ll be back stocking those for sure. Also crossing our fingers Gingerbread stays an annual flavor around the holidays 🤤🤞 We’ll be VERY surprised if anything ever beats the Birthday Cake for us though! 🎂

question on candy: I never have candy on cheat days but i used to love it as a kid. Usually ill have ice cream and pastries for sweets on a cheat day. Now the other day i got a reeces fast break on your guys recommendation. For whatever reason, the fast break was just sickly sweet and i actually through half of it away. Do you need to eat candy frequently to enjoy it or is it just a matter of preference?

Who is talking about hashtags on KZbin? My brother used to work for a very large KZbin channel and talked often about the ins and outs of the algorithm and the creator market… Hashtags mean next to nothing on youtube. It’s not like Instagram in any way, shape or form with helping find content as very few people ever click on the hashtags from one video to find content which is the only way they are useful on KZbin. They don’t help with recommendations which is how most people find content here. Don’t listen to people who have critiques of why a channel isn’t growing that hasn’t done it themselves. it’s like someone who thinks they know how to run a Fortune 500 company because they read an article on Facebook or something. KZbin is an incredibly hard market to thrive in or grow in right now. You often hear creators who were around and grew in popularity years ago say how they feel bad for channels and creator getting starting now. It’s such an overcrowded platform with so many quality creators that getting the recommendations you need in order to get the views you need in order to get the subscribers you need is such a right place/right time situation that your chances are as slim to gaining success as they could be. So many people fighting for the attention of a viewer. If they keep at it hopefully they’ll have their chance, but hashtags certainly aren’t the thing getting in their way 🤣
