absolutely love the collar! It looks so neat and pretty, would like to do something similar:) Could you explain more about it? Is it knitted in double knitting rib or regular double knitting? Do you remember how many stitches you had on the needle for the collar or an estimate?

Thank you! It is knitted in regular double knitting, same as for the button band. Can’t say for the specific number of stitches but I picked up a stitch per every half stitch for the front and back and one stitch per one row for the sides. It should be approximately twice the number of stitches than for the regular collar. For the neat result, it is also important to match the knit Vs of front and back stitches with the knit Vs of double knitting (it is a bit tricky to explain but it is visible when done incorrectly). I hope it helps!

I'm knitting a cardigan, but I have the impression that the armholes are very tight. Did you have a similar impression or am I reading the instructions wrong?
@kniteryna13 күн бұрын
I did go up a needle size and a garment size so my version turned out more oversized. The pattern recommends less positive ease so it is quite possible that armhole would feel a bit tight. If it makes you uncomfortable, I would maybe suggest adding few more raglan increases before splitting body and sleeves :)

You always amaze me with your patience…the thought of undoing the buttonband would make me pass out, but, the results are gorgeous!! Quick question: did you leave the button band stitches at the neckline live or did you pick them up? It looks so seamless. 🤎

thank you for watching!!! ❤️ I just cant accept something I don’t like if I know I can fix it, sometimes it is good, sometimes it is awful haha Live stitches!! I casted on stitches using judy’s magic cast on for the button band without the button holes so that I can use live stitches, I honestly just was not sure how to pick them up if I would cast off
