Harley Benton Fusion-III/II and/or Fusion-T are top of the line Harley Benton guitars that can be found for an bargain on the used market. Here in Europe they are sold for sometimes half the price they are sold as new, and the biggest point for getting them are the Stainless Steel frets....
@saitenkiller Жыл бұрын
Setup of the HB guitars is a hit and a miss. Had a friend that ordered an Amarok and it came with a misplaced bridge that made correct intonation impossible and with a 3 mm action at the first fret. The guys at Thomann tried to convice him that both is normal. He returned it of course. I wonder who ended up with that guitar in the end. Initial prices are great, but expect to put in another 100-200 bucks at a luthier to get the setup right.

HB has a pretty great 2x12 powered cab demo I saw the other day - also super cheap. If you're not going to mic it or anything else, you may as well hear what front of house hears, right? lol

Purchased a fusion 3 with the roasted maple neck. Honestly never been so disapointed with a guitar. I really wanted to love it. Reviews made it sound amazing. I intended on purchasing the fusion T with EMG pickups aswell but after they shipped me a defective guitar I won't be buying from them again. Ended up sending it back. To make it worse they then said they were claiming for shipping damage from the courier. When to me was plain as day that it was a manufacturing defect.

Tuners affect your tone dawg! That's a part of why your Jazzmaster sounds so good. Their light weight doesn't kill your resonance. The heavy modern ones do, I've experienced it first hand. And I LOVE metal guitars. That's just one thing.

Man I got the SC with the Floyd on it and one of the Amarok Baritones. Both of them are absolute shredders, the active pickups that come on the Amarok are incredible, like it kinda pours on its own Distortion. The Roswells on the SC don't sound too bad if I dump a bunch of distortion on them, thought about upgrading them but then Glenn might shout at me. But to your point yesterday, it would be sick to try and find someone with like... an older Harley Benton, just to see how well they hold up.

I've got that HB Baritone and the tuners that came on it were plastic and straight trash. I then ordered some locking hipshot tuners for it but they were bigger than the holes on the headstock.
