I don’t know if tip down is faster. All I know is that I have a whole bunch of nice from when I first started collecting that are all tipped down. My Spyderco Terzuola Starmate from the late ‘90s is RHTD only. I had to het used to tip up

I think a lot of variables are at play there, such as your draw, etc. the only faster tip downs I have are combat oriented which isn't much help to me.

@@knivesiguess that’s true I’ll give u that. Especially those Emerson’s. Tip up is a fairly new thing, popularity wise. The truth is no matter what it is humans can adjust/learn to do either fairly well. I’m a lefty that would feel weird with a lefty pocket clip I’m just so used to the opposite. 😂
