Thank you for showing us the concert, it looked like so much fun. Hawaii was a brilliant theme when outside was soooo cold. Garry’s card, such a lovely gesture. Bath tissue????? What a strange name for toilet paper, what company calls it that. I don’t think many of us would use it in the bath. at least not here in Australia 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 loved the craft shop.

n Christmas shopping time of year. grandma in the 90s call walmart the 100 store now she calls it the 300 store. my truck has that n we use sometimes in summer n won't start unless locked n myntruck nvr left unlocked. summers 120-135°here so use it to cool. or at night if I can't see or feel unsafe but try to always be home by dusk n most shopping I order n pick up. almost nvr walk in stores as no scooters

My part of canada has been quite cold lately. We were a bit colder then -20C today. Many parts were between -21 and -26C. We get windchill here though (im sure alaska must get it too). So it felt like -37C today. However we did get so cold about a week and half or 2 weeks ago. We got to -36C with a -45C windchill. Thats -32F with a -49F windchill. Except when I was a kid many moons ago in the same temperatures, we never saw a snow day. Even if buses got stuck, parents had to take the kids to school. We will be in the -27C (-16F) temperatures all this week. Though i will say my favourite part was seeing your ward party!! I cant help but smile to see inside the church building and the fun theme you had. Then seeing the missionaries. I bet their parents are watching!!

That Bath looked amazing at the end and so well deserved. Illinois is headed this week for an Artic Blast so December 21st first day of Winter we are right on schedule. And from the looks of what you are experiencing, we are headed for one wintery winter. The Lua Christmas Party was so much fun. Weston is at that perfect age, he is so involved with the magical part of Christmas, His eyes were smiling. I loved the pineapple table setting. What a terrific idea. The food looked incredible. Good Morning Hamm Family ❤️ It's a bright, beautiful, chilly (44°F) 3 days until Winter day here in my part of Virginia. Loving it, but would be overjoyed if it were a bit colder and snowing. I'd even be content with a few flurries ☃️ That party looked like so much fun. I love Hawaiian, Polynesian, Samoan dancing/themes. When I was in my early 20s, me and my family went to a special Polynesian Dinner and Performance. We had front row seating (dinner show style). Following one of the male performances, the lead dancer jumped down off the stage and came over to me. He knelt down and pressed his forehead and nose to mine, a “hongi”, then handed me a beautiful green leaf 🌿 before returning to the stage. Later, as we were leaving I asked my Dad about it and he said he wasn't sure, but I might have just gotten married. Typical Dad. I found out later that "the literal meaning of “hongi” is the “sharing of breath.” It is made up of two very little special words. The first is “ho”, which means the exchanging of the breath of life from one to another when you touch each other’s nose. The second word is “ngi” which is the acceptance of that gift that we give each other." I'm not certain of the leaf's meaning, but I still have the leaf tucked safely away in my jewelry box. Such a special moment 🌿 Did you know that when picking out a pineapple there is a simple test for ripeness, besides the smell, weight and squeeze tests: take one of the spikey fronds by your fingers and lift. If the frond is loose or comes out, the pineapple is ripe... and always delicious in my book 🍍 So nice to see you and your family enjoying so many special moments and memories 😊 That shop has so many beautiful things. Thank you for sharing 😁 WallyWorld requires three things: 1. Me being OCD and picking out my own produce, breads, deli/bakery items, eggs, milks/creams and ice cream. 2. Hi Lauren. I just started following you and recently subscribed. I’ve resided in Florida the last 2 1/2 years after relocating from NY. I don’t miss the removing of snow and driving in it. We are retired with a 20 yr. old son. I do like that AK has lots of shops where goods are actually hand made with great quality. In Florida, not as much but we do have craft fairs with vendors who have hand made products for the Florida lifestyle. You’ll find alligator things but not moose.
