For the boys lunch snacks, mini pretzels,gold fish, raisins, veggies/dip or make your own trail mix, get the boys to help decide what to put in it (M&M, raisins, nuts, banana chips, crasins, dried fruits and chocolate chips) for some suggestions, I use to make wraps sometimes instead of sandwiches, I hope this gives you some ideas

My daughter is 10 and I usually give her a sandwich or an uncrustable. Sometimes she wants lettuce wraps so I give her romaine leaves with a couple slices of turkey or ham and cheese. For sides she loves cheese sticks, gogurt, chobani flips, fruit snacks, fruit roll ups, rice krispie treats, grapes, cantalope, strawberries, raspberries, oranges, jello cups, pudding snacks, veggie straws, gold fish, teddy grams, ritz bitz sandwich crackers.......I could go on and on lol But this should give you a good variety so you don't get bored!

I love seeing the prices and comparing them to our prices in the Seattle area. Sometimes your prices are less expensive than here. I order clothing and socks on the Costco website most of the time. Really convenient and if they don't have my size in the store they usually do online. It's usually free shipping on clothing and they ship really fast. If you don't like what you order, you can just return on your next shopping trip. Thanks for the videos!

Cooked sausage, pineapple chunk, chunk of cheese on a stick? Skewer with mozzarella balls, baby tomato, baby pickled onion.... Homemade sausage rolls are great cold Shredded cheese with spring onion bound in mayo and on a bread roll or lettuce leaf....we call that cheese savoury here in the UK Tuna, red onion, red pepper bound in mayo and stuffed in a pita bread

So full of energy coming home from school. He's missed Mum too! Lunches? My children are 39 & 36 now. I never packed my children lunches, & here's why : My Daughter turned "2" the summer we moved here. When she went to Kindergarten, she left home after having a healthy breakfast the children arrived to school & enjoyed a breakfast with their classroom. They also had a cafeteria where there was a really nice lunch prepared for them. The parents were invited to have lunch with their child/children so the parents could see how nice the lunches were. I'd say these kids were well fed. For snacks I had everything in from fresh fruits, fresh veggies to dunk in ranch dressing, homemade cookies, Bundt cake, cupcakes, full course dinners, homemade soups, cheese, crackers, lunch meats to slice up for crackers, chicken salad, pepperonis for cheese & crackers or on homemade pizza, popcorn, chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, potatoes for the grill. Except for wild game, I had everything in. They didn't eat deer meat. They always knew, & I would make it like a beef roast. The only time they ate it was when it was ground up & I made a meatloaf. Sorry - I wasn't much help. I think you have a really great selection of snacks for the Boys, compared to what they had years ago available. We had a garden too. Enjoyed wilted lettuce, tomatoe sandwiches. I don't see any children enjoying a rice cake with peanut butter spread on it, & apple slices on the side anymore. Enjoyed meeting your friends at the Costco. Have a good week.

My daughter wouldn’t eat bread when taking school lunches so I used to make up pasta/cous cous or rice and mix in salad veg and a protein such as chicken or prawns. She was happy to eat this cold. Also used to send a wide thermos with a thick soup in.

Surprise them with a little note from mom in there lunch box. Also the trend with kids today around here is like homemade lunchables my grand daughter who is 10 loves to fix hers. All kinds of fruit and veggies with a veggy dip. Avocado singles and crackers. So many things. Lunch meat roll ups. She has one of the boxes that departments in it.

Pilot bread (or "biscuit de mer" (sea cookie)) is not commonly sold where I live. Same for "pain d'ammunition" (amo bread, its military counterpart). There are just nicer things to eat and no Alaskan wilderness. I think they are still found in military rations as their modern iterated format as "pain de campagne" which can be both translated as "countryside bread" and "mission bread".

You are to socks, as I am to books... makes me happy 😊 Bananas here in Virginia where I live are 19¢ a pound 🍌 Not having Evertte with you is a learning curve, but you're doing great. I do miss the lil man 🤗 I homeschooled my Son, so meals varied from sandwiches, to leftovers, to pizza, to ramen, to... whatever was available. On hand, we always had salad fixin's, fruits and veggies, fruit cups, pudding cups, chips, crackers, popcorn, hummus, dips and salsa, nuts, snacky/desserty items, and his favorite, Yahoos (a "milk" drink). When we go out for "field trips", we'd either eat out or bring a bag lunch. We also had educational and fun "dates" with other homeschooling families, including 4H, Boy Scouts and Civil Air Patrol. I love Sailor Boy Pirate Bread*. There's a box in the kitchen and pantry as I type this. I get ours through Amazon or other supplier. We haven't seen it at SAMs and we don't use Costco. My favorite way to have them is with cream cheese and preserves, Nutella or Peanut Butter and Bananas. Mmmm 😋 * I love and do the same thing with Matza... Matza Pizza is the best though 😋 Hi-Chew Ba-nan-na 🍌😋 Hi Luna. I’d say it’s hard to keep making sandwiches for the 4 boys lunches ! Kids get tired of things fast !! But you do a great job with the sandwiches and snacks ! We don’t have a Costco in my town , I think there is one about an hour away , but I’ve never heard of Sailor Bread before ! Shopping without Everett is different , and him tasting all the samples ( sampies) as he used to call them !! Glad he’s liking school and doing good and Luna also ! One of my kids' favorite lunches was Lunchables. I cheated... cut sliced ham or turkey in squares... cut sliced cheese.. Crackers. And a drink box. Look in the plastic wear isles at Walmart or Dollar stores and find containers they can go in. Or use snack size baggies. They also liked the nacho chip kind. Small plastic containers of salsa and cheese.. don't forget the chips. Or hunters sausage (slim jims) and cheese and crackers. Pickled bologna with cheese and crackers. Don't forget raisins, dill pickles or nuts...

My kids liked jello and pudding cups or . I used to make them on Sunday night for the week. Yogurt We did a lot of wraps and meat(deer stcks or deer summer sausage) and cheese and crackers. Homemade cookies. Fruit cups. Dried fruit. Popcorn. Party mix. Frozen juice boxes that thawed by lunch. Times were different I think back then. My youngest will be 30 this year. My other son 34. Wow. I'm getting old!
