I love it when Ant forgets to dance and leaves Dec doing it on his own at first then remembers to join in. This is probably the best live performance I have seen them do and I also saw them on tour when I was just 18 (god I feel old!)

Takes me back.. :) It was supposed to be 2 other performers up for a vote, who would sing at the end of the show but the show's producers surprised them at the last minute by making R2R the 3rd entry! So funny when everyone of course voted for them.

This was INSANE seeing 2 of your favourite children's tv presenters dancin' I remember that they left it up to a vote between 4 or so other girl and boy bands. With Ant & Dec winning by about 90% of the caller vote. 😂

It was between them, Steps and Mel C. I always remember the latter smiling broadly and pointing in the duo's direction (they were offscreen) and when the camera went to them they looked so embarrassed. 😂

I will always kind of regret not getting tickets for the 100th show and seeing this live. Was still an amazing morning though. Ahh memories. Best days at the london studios every Saturday. Was never the same when ant n dec left n it moved to hammersmith :(

I was in the studio audience at the 100th Show. The viewers vote was a foregone conclusion as we rehearsed it in the closed canteen before going into studio. The vibe in the studio was always Superb.

This was performed at the end of the 100th Edition of CD:UK in September 2000 or thereabouts. I was in studio audience for this edition at London Studios in Waterloo. Other artists in the background during this performance are Steps, Melanie C, Victoria Beckham who all performed in studio along with Billie Piper, Cat Deeley was on stage behind Ant & Dec. The viewers vote was already a bit of a forgone conclusion.

It was replayed over the end credits on the December 1 2001 episode as well when Ant & Dec quit SM:TV Live/CD:UK 8n CITV Saturday morning children’s programs forever to focus more on Pop Idol and their other primetime stuff.

WOW! This is amazing, thanks for posting it :). It's great to see they've still got it lol although it looks like Ant forgot the dance routine at first lol, Dec's an amazing dancer though. Some very sexy moves in there, especially Dec at 1:12 / 1:13 ;). lol at the end where they says they're knackered, i know the dance routine off by heart lol and i find it tiring, i don't know how they kept it up when they went on tours.

Absolutely love this song! One of my favourites, however I always had one qualm with it growing up! They released it as 'PJ and Duncan' yet in the song they say, im Ant and I'm Dec. I obviously worried about important things growing up! 🤣

I think this was in 2001 when for some special occasion (100th episode/ last episode or something) the viewers could call to request a song. The alternative was steps i think. So everyone called in for PJ and Duncan and this is what happened. legends.

This wasn't their last day, it was for the 100th episode of SM:TV. :) It was repeated on their last show but this performance wasn't actually from that last episode. :)
