Dude, it took me back to early March when I picked up my 2020 Standard after I had Harley install your the Skinnyz handle bars from Dean Speed Customs, went from 31 inch to aprox 28 wide and taller bars, took a little while to get used to, but in the end, loved the feel of the ride, aggressive and relaxed feel if that makes sense. Enjoyed every mod you made to your Slim, and enjoying mods to your Fat Bob!

I like those bars looks sharp and mor functional. Am I seeing a mid control set up on that bike? if so who did you go with and how do like them? I just got a 2023 Fat Bob Id like the controls and little closer.
@aztriumphster11 ай бұрын
Yup. Harley mid control kit. The setup is perfect for me. The Harley Fat Bob mid control kit is more of a mid than the street bob and lowrider s etc. So, depending on how tall you are you may want to look at those mid control kits as well. Just be mindful of your exhaust routing and if it will conflict with one of the factory setups from the other bikes

Hey awesome vids ,I know you did this bar switch a while ago and did not have it on your bike for long but do you recall what the change in rise and pull back was with the moto bars vs the stock bars ?I have a 19' and the bars are just a little to wide for me and was hoping a change like this would get them slightly higher and closer to me as well .

Which bars are you running now? What’s did you like or didn’t like about them? Thanks
@aztriumphster Жыл бұрын
Long term I ended up running Dean Speed 8" Switchback T Bars. They have as much rise as u can run with the stock cables and wires, great ergos and they look killer. Not really any dislikes. We have a set in stock right now. If u r interested, hit me up at dealersupport@dean-speed.com

I put 4in risers on mine but now I’m leaning towards going to stock risers and putting on bars closer to what you have but maybe with an inch more rise

@aztriumphster2 жыл бұрын
I dont recall offhand exactly when it comes on but I calculated my total gas mileage the last couple times and it's about 40-45 mpg. The woerd thing about the has light is it will come on and say that I have like 30 to 35 miles left but it only takes about 5 or so miles and it will show that I have less than 10 miles left

I’m thinking of doing 6.5” pullback risers on mine with tracker bars. how many inches of cable extension do you think i’ll need?
@aztriumphster2 жыл бұрын
Eddy, if ur tracker bars have about 2 inches if rise, u should be good with factory cables and wires. Im running a total of 8" of rise right now with all the factory bits. I maybe have a half inch to an inch of unused slack.

Watched this because I’m eventually going to have to address the handlebar height on my sport glide. Definitely realize I don’t even wanna tackle that myself. The hardest part seems to be picking out risers and type of bar tho. Do you just keep buying until you find the right combo?
@aztriumphster3 жыл бұрын
Hey Michael. U don't have to keep buying till u find the right combo. The first thing we would want to do is determine how tall u want the overall rise to be, then based on that, do you need longer cables and wires or do u want to go as tall as u can on the factory setup. From there, based on your height and what sort of riding you plan to do, we can help isolate what to be looking for.
@mikeleago13 жыл бұрын
@@aztriumphster Since it’s a Sport glide I don’t want to ruin the aesthetic with the fairing by getting really tall apes or risers. Need to find some happy medium because on longer rides I start to feel it in the back. Hoping I can take it into the dealership and they can have some demo options. I’m in Seattle so bikes gonna be stored for a few months 😕
@aztriumphster3 жыл бұрын
@@mikeleago1 some time ago I did a video on my buddys sport glide. Check it out when u get a chance. If you go with T bars, u would want a set that has pullback in the riser portion and some in the handlebar section as well. Check these out: dean-speed.com/double-back-t-bars/ If u run a regular clamp style bar, check the Dean Speed Matadors. They have rake factored into the ergos as well as the pullback. This way u can roll the bars back toward u without getting an awkward wrist angle.

@@aztriumphster thank you! I’ll check it out! 🙏

Couldn’t agree with you more about changing the bars and the aesthetics, I have a sport glide too. The 4” Riser is an option and requires no cable changes.
