Nice job and a unique looking Fat Bob without taking away the muscle bike style. Glad to see you did the vented trans cover, it was your video that pointed me to Rons Workshop and decided me to go the same way. I ordered a new "plastic!" top cover, cost me £70 ( I`m in the UK) but I get to keep my original in case things go tits up and I need warranty work (just swap them over). It`s drilled and locktited and ready to fit (not fitted yet). I used 8mm ( 5/16th in US money) fittings and hose as it fits nicely inside the cover space and didnt want to restrict the venting. I also did the custom dynamics break lights and relocation plate. And I'm so happy I did. The bike now looks more clean and slick. Yours looks better though haha Awesome custom paint and decals. I've been taking inspiration from your videos to work on my bike. Thank you!

Did you have any clearance issues with the mid controls and the exhaust system? I'm looking for the exact same setup for mine!

The mid control kit comes with a spacer for the right side foot control bracket. Its actually for using the mod control kit on the FXDR. The spacers could work of u have some additional components from S&S to correct the brake linkage. Basically o took a piece of 1/4" aluminum flat bar and drilled 2 holes that lined up with the bolts. It did the trick without having to buy extra components from S&S

Hi there, truly a great job! I've been looking for a way to bring the hand grips of my FB roughly between 3" and 4" closer. Would you say that the Dean Speed Switchback setup does that? Thanks in advance.

Thanks Marco. The grip end to grip end total width on the Switchbacks is going to be about 30".

@@BFF1998 the total pullback is about 7 - 8". Its a little tough to get an exact because I'm measuring from where the bars bolt to the triple treet.

Looks cool. The only thing that doesn't work for me is the headlight. It might work if there's some way to "paint" the actual headlight glass white (and black for the number) in a way that lets the light pass through it . . . a special transparent paint or material that lets the light through. That way the "16" would be obvious and not require figuring it out. If not doable, then I personally would keep it as it was stock. That's just me. And as I already said, otherwise I like what you've done with the bike.

Paul, just select the shortest option then add an order comment that u want em with 8" rise. U will be able to run all the factory cables and wires. I have an install video on this channel.

Biltwell Recoil. They are about $20. The knurling def helps with grip and they increase diameter near the center of the grip which is comfortable not having to close the hand as much around the grip.

@@smoothrider9604 if you want to run T bars, u can go up to 8" rise. Checkout the Dean Speed Switchbacks or the Double Backs. If u decide to order up a set, just select the shortest height available in the drop down then add an order comment that you want them with 8" of rise.
