The concrete was far to wet and all the fat will have floated to the top, which if nothing else will create a very weak and dusty surface, causing problems for the floor finisher. At 100mm the slab is too thin IMO especially as no anti-crack mesh was installed, you can expect nice big shrinkage cracks in the surface.

Thank yoi for your input, there is no need whatsoever for mesh in a floor that's taking no weight whatsoever, the floor will not shrink back at all. If it had been a blazing hot day then maybe but it wasn't. And 100mm is what is required for building regs, I've done more floors than I care to count, but in your honest opinion, that counts for nothing IMO.

Lol just a bit, well that'd Tom's rake and he won't throw anything away lol, I've a larger rake but sometimes my tools end up in his van 😄
