13:09 as i know you should have a bushing each side of the perch, the sway bar link work up and down. You certainly have a squished lower bushing,or it's missing,that's why it's out of thread. The axle oil seems to be mixed with water,it will damage bearings and gears. Those dodge are nice,i would have one for sure if i lived in your country.

@15:37 instead of painting them spray them and your whole underbody with fluid film or a wax based protectant, when u paint stuff in the rust belt it actually makes it worse and in no time that painted surface will just flake off with rust

I’ve seen those jacks fail and I don’t want you getting crushed we’re no one can help you! Please use jack stands or some kind of sturdy cribbing to support vehicle you get under, your a good man don’t want to see you injured my guy

One of my first times really working on a vehicle was changing a wheel bearing and ball joints with a buddy on his 05 ram 2500. It was not easy haha. Learned a lot from working on the truck (it always needed something ).

1" impact set to perfect torque setting. Some things I get it, but the wheel bearing isn't the place to skip it.

Probably should of done the wheel bearings you went through all that and put the used ones back in i wouldnt ever especially anyways dodges front wheel bearings dont last at one bit lol but to each is own if you like doing the same thing often

@@Dumpster_Dave autozone sells cheap ones for like 180 and can also get bearings for them from oriellys and install new ones in the hub or they sell entire hub for 200 a side not sure if you tried them but napa tends to cost a little more and I think personally oriellys parts are comparable and sometimes can get things for like f550s that day where napa cant

What a real shame is in these trucks they are solid all around except the cheap plastic dash boards. I think the pre 98' models were better, but so many with cracked trash dash boards and really no way to fix them right. Junk Yards have already been gone through and they do not make them new any longer. I think there are some after market dash covers, built when the heater cores fail the dash boards break like crazy changing out a heater core or evaporator core. I wanted to buy another 1997 like the Ram I had and all of them I checked out had destroyed dash boards so I went with GM.

This truck is about 95% rust free now with the hard work all done re fixing brakes and steering. Why not go the other 5% and cover the remaining rust covered bolts and parts with some kind of rust proofing ? Then spray ALL of the undercarriage with RustChek or something else that will protect it!

What moron designed the brake rotors the way that you have to smack out and press in the studs everytime?? Rotors are a wear part just like the pads and could easily be made to slip over the studs from the outside... Always a joy to watch you getting things done, thx a lot! 👍👍👍
