masterpiece of an album!!! my fave genre's of all time are r'n'b & New Jack Swing which made me fall in love with this opus when it was released. Sadly "Word Is Out" broke the consecutive Top 10 reign Kylie had on the UK singles charts... a surreal moment years later when seeing the Nobuhiko Kitamura dress from the front cover in colour!!! Props to the great James Uluave & other bv's for the accapella version of the title track from the tour... KYLIE FUNK 9T1!!!

2WAYFM the 12" vinyl release also being the first K release on Mushroom records not to have a front cover... nonetheless the whole "LGTI" album is flawless... my love is equal for the Word Is Out u.k. & oz single mixes... i first discovered Kangol berets from that video clip :) Blood brother & the cappuccino crowd

It was Take That's Everything Changes - which was made 2 years later and directed by the same director, who clearly and shamelessly recycled the concept

This is an unpopular opinion but this is my favorite Kylie album. I love the vibe, era, and all the songs. It was like Rhythm Of Love but sexier and more honest to me. 1. Lets Get To It 2. I prefer the UK mix of Word Is Out. I love the synth stabs and the horns! The Summer Breeze is a little too laid back for me.

Let's Get To It is my favourite Kylie album of ALL TIME. I adored it when I bought it in 1991 and I still think it is the best work she has ever done followed by Impossible Princess. Without Let's Get To It the Deconstruction era and the 1994 album would not have been. Kylie wanted to make R&B and SAW didn't want to and she finally was allowed and had control over PWL. And then the other side was Techno Rave tracks like Do You Dare? and Closer. I also will forever love her FUCK YOU look on the cover - The UK version Of Word Is Out was American New Jack Swing and not Pop! ... Always HATED the OZ version, it is bland and nothing. From Word Is Out, Too Much Of A Good Thing, No World Without You to Live And Learn (That synth drum intro kills me), If You Were With Me Now and Finer Feelings. It is GENIUS ... Too many Kylie fans just want bubblegum which is why they can't handle Let's Get To It and Impossible Princess. I actually cannot forgive Kylie for forgetting Let's Get To It the other day, like WTF?! - Your only album that you were allowed to write on and you forget it? - Ugh, I would die to have the Let's Get To It KYLIE back but unfortunately she is bland as hell now and has nothing to say like she did then. Kylie coming down the stairs on Word Is Out still makes me WOW, utter control down the stairs. If You Were With Me Now - Class and Beauty video - Finer Feelings was also such a classic beautiful video. Kylie made Give Me Just A Little More Time video in 1991 and Take That made Everything Changes in 1994. I hope people know Give Me Just A Little More Time was a cover of a 1983 original. As much as I love Too Much Of A Good Thing the most from Let's Get To It I always was annoyed that it was a group vocal and I wished Kylie was higher in the mix - 'I hope you enjoy this as much as I do' is from Control. I enjoyed listening to this because I am such a HUGE lover of this album. I always loved Finer Feelings album version more and didn't like the Brothers In Rhythm version as much. The intro of the album version is stunning. But the 12" is stunning to. If You Were With Me Now still makes me cry especially the video (Sigh) + Kylie said at the time that she nearly fell off the chair when Pete Waterman said we got Keith Washington :-) I also love the B-Side Say The Word (I'll Be There) ... Odd that these guys do not mention 2 Unlimted which is what I Guess I Like It Like That is based on but better in my opinion - Her vocal is fantastic. The fact that Let's Get To It was her least selling album says it all as far as creativity - To me it says that she was becoming an artist and many people couldn't handle her changing. 100 out of 10 - As you can see - Let's Get To It is my favourite Kylie album. What is Kylie talking about - Word Is Out was #16 in the UK and Top 10 in Australia!

Good album, but RHYTHM OF LOVE had BETTER THE DEVIL YOU KNOW. Best single of her career.

Really annoyed about the fact u skimmed live and learn because personally it’s a highlight for me. I agree it is like a cousin to rhrn and I feel if lal was a bit higher in the tracklist people would appreciate it more :(

Hmmm... I feel like this album doesn't know what it wants to be. Half of it is great in my opinion, whereas the other half just lacks a sense of energy. 'Word Is Out' was such a poor choice for a single, never mind a lead single. 'Right Here, Right Now' would have been my choice for single no.1 as would have been the great transition between 'Rhythm of Love' and this album. I actually think all of the singles are quite weak. I know that some of them had some success at the time, but this album, out of all her albums seems to be the one that she disregards now in her live work. 'Finer Feelings' is the exception but still for me it is not one of her best. The album tracks such as 'Too Much Of A Good Thing' and 'Live and Learn' are great. I think 'Let's Get To It' (title track) is very boring. Conceptually I think this is her weakest PWL album, although as a full package I prefer it to 'Kylie'...just what a come down from 'Enjoy Yourself' and 'Rhythm of Love' which were mega! It's worth mentioning the 'Greatest Hits' album here too. I like 'Celebration' and know that she loves to perform it live. It's only ever meant to be fun and that's all it needs to be. 'What Kind Of Fool' is quite forgettable, and I know that Kylie absolutely hates it. I liked the album as a whole, great to have all of the hits together. UK charts Album (Let's Get To It) #15 (ouch! I think 'Word Is Out' didn't help with promotion. Also this was the first album release to have only had one single release ahead of the album - all previous albums had two singles ahead and therefore more promotion/exposure) Word Is Out #16 (bang goes the top 10 singles run) If You Were With Me Now #4 Give Me Just A Little More Time #2 (charted higher than the original release) Finer Feelings #11 Album (Greatest Hits) #1 What Kind Of Fool #14 Celebration #20

Didn’t know Kylie hates What Kind of Fool. Loved that one. Very disappointing that it’s never been remastered. Unless Greatest Hits got the box set treatment, which it won’t... it’s never going to happen
