TIP FOR FISHING :D they don't tell you in game, but you can get seaweed from fishing in stagnant water. So outside of the ripples! There's a chance for Cod too it looks like. I'm happy you're playing this game!

A little tip once you get going on dreamlight valley. Whenever you're doing quest have a friend hang out with you so you can get friend points and level up your friendship.

So excited to see you playing more of this! It's such a rich and wholesome game. Please play more, it's so relaxing and fun to watch. Some tips... You can craft chests for extra storage (using the crafting station at Scrooge's or outside Goofy's house). Every chest you have anywhere in the game are all synced to crafting stations or stoves so you never need the items in your inventory to use them. Whenever you need energy, just pop into your house and the bar instantly refills; food etc is more useful for longer travels or if you're busy and don't want to run back to your house, though I recommend eating raw fruit rather than cooked items as cooking uses precious coal. Fishing bubble colours: white is common, blue is uncommon, and gold is rare. Stardew rules apply - keep at least 3 (I personally prefer 5) of EVERYTHING, even the same flowers of different colours. Can sell shiny gems, but keep some of the normal ones. Topaz and Emeralds in particular are common in quests or crafting. Carrots are great money-makers early on, and seeds are easy to come by. Remember to "hang out" with villagers for bonus exp and duplicate items when fishing, farming, etc depending on their role. Also; using the furniture tool, you can rearrange anything - including trees etc. Hope this helps :)

A desolate planet with a shy robot = Wall-E A restaurant with a great little chef = Remy An ocean with a demigod = Maui I think it was the ocean that made me think of Ariel and demigod made me think of Hercules. I almost justified that because I read somewhere those two are cousins but I love that they included Wall-E. It also makes sense that he is the "workbench tutorial" for this game because he takes trash, alters it, and builds things with his cubes. I feel like from a gameplay perspective, it might been beneficial to choose Remy first to unlock new recipes

Things I discovered while playing... when you are removing thorns or foraging, you'll get a burst of coins or fruit with timer music. This is the time to collect them as fast as you can. If you collect them before they disappear, then you get a chest. Going to your house replens your energy but if you go to Remy's world in the castle, you can discover a bunch recipes using the resources in the kitchen and eat those foods created to get your energy to gold bar. You can't take those foods out of Remy's kitchen. You can move around items that are in the valley that were already there. In the Valley, go into your inventory, then to the furniture tab, then press 'F' (on PC) to minimize the furniture inventory. You'll be in the screen where you can move things around. Just use the hand icon to grab and item and move. You can move buildings or remove decorations and those will be in your inventory.

Go hard into farming, you need so much money! I'm 47 hours in and just got the achievement for earning 450,000 gold, as in 25,000 to upgrade a stall. Stardew rules, keep 3 of everything. Flowers too, so many quests need them in specific colours. Hang out with companions while you farm, they level up so fast even if it's not their assigned skill. Been looking forward to you playing this, it's fantastic! Incredible amount of content already and such wholesome fun, I'm having a blast.

a suggestion, keeping an eye on the quest tab (and tracking the quest you want to do) really helps with knowing what to do. you also need to track the right quests to make the villagers follow you (for quest purposes) and stuff

“The Forgetting” fits Merlin perfectly, since Disney’s adaptation of _The Sword In The Stone (1963)_ portrayed him close to how he was originally written in _The Legend of King Arthur._ I always loved Disney’s film, despite the fact that it was released during Disney’s infamous “copy/ paste” era: _ Jungle Book (1967) Robin Hood (1973)._ I’m also pretty sure that the Squirrel Evelien fed is also from _The Sword In The Stone._ Merlin turned Young Arthur and himself into Squirrels.

I bought this game because of you. Played it all day lol. Tip: talk to a character and ask them to hang out. They will follow you around and level up as you mine/fish/garden/ect. Leveling them up gets you more quests, new items, and money.

Here's some hints to help you. I hope you find this useful.: 1. if you have a character at level 2 friendship or higher, you can ask them to hang out. when you're hanging out, their role ability will take effect, based on the role you gave them. so, when you fish, u'll wanna hang out w/ whoever has the fishing role. you can see what role each character has by clicking their face in the collections tab. Doing pretty much anything in the valley raises their friendship bar, but doing the activity that their role is assigned to gives them a lot more friendship points. ALSO, each character has 3 favorite items that they'll accept, that change daily. giving the character those items give a gigantic boost in friendship level, so keep an eye on what each person wants. 1B. Remy's restaurant lets you cook meals for whichever characters are visiting. Giving them the food they ordered will also increase friendship. Wall-e will get a garden that gives free crops once a day, and Moana will have a raft that gives you fish throughout the day (it takes time for her to catch a fish). All 3 of these characters' special areas are upgradeable w/ coins, which will increase the amount of their respective offering (characters to feed, crops, or fish). When cooking, different recipes require a different number of ingredients. if you look at the recipe list for a recipe you don't have yet, it will still show how many ingredients are needed, tho it WON'T show which are needed. 2. certain critters act a certain way in order to be fed, AND each kind of critter has a specific type of food, that's its favorite, which give better rewards. For behaviors, squirrels and sunbirds you just walk up to and interact with them. Bunnies and foxes need you to chase them about 3-4 times. Raccoons and crocodiles need you to stay still while it's in it's alerted pose (when it's moving its head around), and when it lowers itself, it's safe to move closer. it usually takes you stopping a couple times in order to get close enough to interact. However, if you move closer while they're alert, they'll run away and you'll have to try again. The turtles on dazzle beach will hide in their shell. just stand still till they pop back out. 3. if you don't wanna use up the foods you have, you can run into your house really fast, and it refills your stamina bar. I suggest clearing out all of the night thorns and rocks from the areas of the valley that you have access to, since they give you coins, seeds, and other items. Night thorns will slowly start reappearing every day, along w/ small rocks 4. like the interior of your house, you can rearrange almost all of the terrain in the valley while outside, such as moving where houses are, and removing bothersome boulders and trees. 5. if you were to use keyboard, you could continually mine a gem rock w/ the pickaxe or dig a row of holes by simply holding down the space bar. I dunno if that works on controllers, too. 6. Ariel and Ursula are not able to be assigned a role, so you have to just grind up their friendship by doing daily discussions w/ them, and giving them their favorite items each day.

You can easily make chests at the crafting station outside goofy's house or scrooges shop, with just wood and rock you find around the valley, and if thats not enough space you can make a bunch and organize them outside of your house like in stardew haha, or upgrade your backpack in the inventory menu/upgrade your house later with a scrooge quest :)

Great video 😊 also you apple still you get to different lands cause things give you more energy but once you got the bar to blue that’s when you eat food you make cause it makes the bar go to gold and makes you a little faster so make a lot of apple fruit salad and once you get to different area you can cook with a better fruit and you will never run out of energy I never do

Same! This game is so cute. The storyline is breaking my heart though. Everyone has been separated from their friends and loved ones because of the Forgetting. But eventually they will return to the valley, but it's a long road.
