Man, this reminds me of the gifts my aunts and uncles would get me back in the early 2000s. I remember putting batterys in the freezer to get as much life out of em back then, don't remember if it actually helped or not was just what we did

I have a weird love of consoles/handhelds like this that have proprietary cartridges/screens like this, even if they're "fake" (a key that just sets the internal programming to show what the cart tells it to).

I have seem some similar stuff back in the day, but it was shaped like a regular lcd game thingy. Aaaaandd... I think there was also one that looked a bit like a mini arcade? might be wrong about that one. I did have a cross shaped one that had no cartridges/screens combos but It had 4 different sport games: tennis, volleyball, Football (soccer) and... I think Handball
