What I did for a replacement Neo Go stick was to buy a Neo Geo X stick off AliExpress, which are still for sale, and then bought a AES conversion kit for it, (as the NGX is USB) It requires a tiny bit of soldering, but you essentally get a brand new AES stick that way.

I purchased the first one and replaced the buttons with concave buttons. It is my go to Neo Geo controller now.

I think the Neo Geo plays better with either the Seimitsu LS-32 with the square gate or the LS-40...

A lot of joyboards have small spaces to rest your hands, i can't play for long that way. Interesting solutions overall though

Even building a Neogeo joystick from scratch is so easy. There is no encoder and each direction or button is connected to it's own certain pin on the DB15 connector.

Neo-Geo joystick directions and buttons are directly wired. That PCB inside is not an encoder, just a passthrough board so that everything plugs neatly into it.

Yeah, I've seen some of those after market aliexpress sticks, they also make them for SEGA megadrive, and even seen some SNES ones but no turbo buttons. 🙁

It's jusy that i prefer the battop joysticks with the happ co caved bittons. Even just the china o es ares prbebly beter then these ones. But thays just my opinon.
