One thing that's very true if you both straight arm you can actually learn how to throw a curve and it's quite informative from the clip. And explained quite well. Same with the spare using the arrows

12:04 is bad advice. You should move your bowling ball to the right, away from your body. That way, you can naturally drop the ball, with an easy going, pendulum motion. Otherwise, your body will swing the bowling ball backwards to the right, and become much more likely to fire left of your target.

This is so sad that this sport is fading fast bowling allies are closing down and people are losing interest in the game, and they need to bring back bowling and more people need to get back into the game.

When I was a kid , my dad was teaching me how to bowl . At one time when I was getting ready to swing the ball forward , my dad says "Now throw the ball !" When I swung the ball , I threw it high up into the air and when it came down , it hit hard in the left gutter , bounced out of the left gutter into the OTHER PERSON'S LANE and made a strike ! I was kind of embarassed and my dad said "You're supposed to get a strike in your lane !" I wonder how many people this happened to . Please let me know !

Well, setting aside the idea of "breed," check lane 12 at 2:17 and I think you will see a non white person bowling. Slow down the speed and go with full screen. I may be wrong, but I don't think so.
@LaptopLarry330 Жыл бұрын
By “breed”, I believe that the narrator meant to say social class, personal background, and the type of guidance and training received in a person’s formative years. A person going to college is going to be different from a person going to technical school or a school of trades.

It's unrealistic for anyone back then to show up to any bowling alley, ask for help if it's their first time, and then Ned Day and Marion Ladewig show up. Marion was probably the greatest woman bowler in history, or at least back in those days. If it were me when I started I'd expect Dick Weber or Earl Anthony to show up. I'm just saying that if such help were provided it wouldn't likely be with such famous and renowned bowlers. Of course if it were, I'd shut up and listen to everything they tell me.

Too bad the average American bowler has turned it into a trash sport & hasn't the slightest idea of lane etiquette or how to behave in public. Even the spectators at televised PBA tournaments act like drunken idiots at a wrestling match.
