Let’s Go Down to the Lake! 🍂🍁October 7, 2024

Hey everyone!
There was no school on Thursday or Friday, so we took immediate advantage of the time off and drive down to the lake house!
We hit an unexpected awesome time/place on Friday night, which I share all of with you in this video!

What a beautiful weekend!! The drive was very pretty. The Apple orchard looked like so much fun. I don’t know how you didn’t buy anything in that shop. I saw so many things I would have liked to try. The fire was very relaxing to watch burn. Those were some nice fish you caught. Is the lake very big? Sunset was gorgeous also. I was so impressed by this journey. The skyline you refer to. Is that NYC, or Long Island? I have an idea since you mentioned the Bronx, but not 100%. Thank you for taking us along. It was so nice. 🌅🔥🎣🍎🚂

So many people say that lol- I showed Brett this picture I found of my child self while I was in Greece this summer and he said “you mean our son with longer hair?” Lol Brett says he’s a doppelgänger of me as a child. I’ll quote the nurse from the nicu when he was born, “he’s a good mix!”

First time Brett ever took me fishing when we were first dating, he tried to give me tips or whatever lol, I told him I’ve been fishing my whole life- and I pulled up a fish on my very first cast. I wish I could have taken a picture of his face…. That’s when he knew he was in for a world of trouble, in general 🤣

@@roseserna2860 we usually just do catch & release on the lake. There are also signs asking people to please do that because they stock the lake and it’s expensive. I know not everyone is doing that though lol

It was beautiful! And no rain, which is a shock to us lol but we hear that there’s actually most of the rain in the summer, so that’s good!
