Today we're going through as many newer releases from the past year as I can - Are they worth it? Have I smelled them + what are my thoughts on them? Will I buy them? etc :) Let's discuss in comments whatever sparks your curiosity or any thoughts you may have about these fragrances. I just tried Burberry her elixir and it’s amazing. I was on the fence about it too, but wow. I don’t like the original or the intense but this one is so creamy and good! I love this style of video! ❤

Prada Paradoxe doesn’t smell like Libre but it DOES smell like a combo of Donna Born in Roma combined with My Way. However both of those smell better than Paradoxe. I bought and returned.

Interesting! I would like to smell it again tbh. At first sniff it reminded me of Voce Viva, which I do like (I like the other fragrances you mentioned too) - but we already have those 😅 so not sure Paradoxe is necessary. Thanks for sharing your take on it Kat. 🤗

I am so happy with Libre Le Parfum. It is definitely beastmode. It’s like a gingery Love Don’t Be Shy. Heavier, honeyed. Cozy/Loud Edit: Burberry Her Elixir is yummy, but I prefer the OG. Elixir is creamy, but in a Barbie/doll head kind of way. It reminds me a lot of this 90s plastic toy I had, they were called “Cupcake Dolls”. Google it. The 90s were weird lol Double Edit: I really like a “woody fruity green” fragrance, especially when they have that fig/tea/cashmere wood accord. The KKW perfume sounds similar to Le Labo Thè Matcha 26, Nest Indigo and Byredo Mixed Emotions 😋

Ok, so I have recently smelled the Elixir and YES, I totally get what you mean - I get the similar creaminess but NOT actually cream and I was trying to figure out what it was/how it was that way... I think you nailed it - it does smell a bit like that baby doll head smell. Does that mean it smells like creamy plastic? 😂 And yes, "woody fruity green" tends to be more unique in category and underrated. I really like Nest Indigo as well as Hermes Un Jardin en Mediterranee! Thanks for sharing! ❣️

Thanks for this, so hard to stay updated with the crazy amount of releases... I have Fève Tonka de Canaima, wasn't aware it was so new, it's really lovely! That Boucheron line is really good if you like more cozy warm scents and not very aggressive/strong, I really enjoy it. A new Mon Guerlain with frangipani and no licorice??? yes!!! according to the Fragrantica comments it's a Russian release, not sure what that mean - hope it''l be sold elsewhere at some point.

I totally agree Neta - it's so hard to keep track of all the new releases. 😅 Thank you for sharing your thoughts on Fève Tonka! I have heard good things about the line as a whole as well - will definitely check them out if I get the opportunity. And yes about Mon Guerlain! I really hope it's not one of those Russian releases we never get to see anywhere else (I feel like this has happened before.. I forget what perfume(s)). It really does look lovely and quite different from the original Mon Guerlain.

You can get samples of Khamra. I'm glad I did...all the hype about it being a dupe for Angels Share is wrong. It's very different. Sebastian Jara mentioned it in one of his videos as well.

If you like a "bread" note in fragrance, have you tried Single Malt by Kilian? I only got a sample of it through Royalty Scents, but it is so good! I learned after that it is discontinued. 😥

I have not - I totally want to though and know it's pretty hard to come by. 😞 But yes, a bread note can be so round and comforting - I'd love to smell it in more perfumes.

Light blue forever love is love and Italian love. My favorite light blue is forever it’s bright and fizzy with a white floral element but it’s fizzy like a cocktail and blood orange really comes through.

Don’t get Vanilla Milk. I got a travel size thinking it sounded amazing as soon as it came out. It’s awful. It smells like a slightly vanilla-ish oatmeal. Emphasis on the oatmeal. Super odd and not what I expected based on the notes at all.

Thanks for sharing, I recently smelled Bare in stores briefly and, I have to say, I did find it quite nice. I'm not *that* familiar with VS fragrances in general though. I'm still so not sure about Vanilla milk though.. I have been warned, haha!
