I doubt there is enough money in the world to pay me to bungee jump- I am afraid of heights.

I could never walk that bridge. Let alone film it at the same time. Mad props.

The general vibes of this video are so good. Chichibu seems to have a lot condensed into it, there is a ton of shines, the dams even a rice terrace in Yokoze.

You two are so funny! The fear felt real just watching it on line! The Scarecrow place - a little creepy but not as much as a similar (kind of) place in Mexico called The Island of the Dolls.

Love this! I'd have fallen to my death multiple times on that bridge, or at least swung like a very heavy pendulum. The uneven slats aren't good if you have no depth perception lol. The festival looked fun but so weird that they were herding you in directions that didn't make sense. At least the fireworks were good! Thanks for the ride, it was really pretty!

“じゃがバター、じゃがバター!” If I was there I would say the exact same thing as Kyde for sure lol でも、じゃがバターにキムチって…the Kimuchi goes well with じゃがバター?😅 2人の動画はいつ見ても楽しい👍 Here’s a trivia.Konnyaku is made with konnyaku imo-Konjac Root -which is kind of potatoes-, on the other hand Tokoroten is made with tengusa which is seaweed.😉

If you come across "Andes Red" or "Kita Akari" potatoes at a local farmers market, I recommend buying them and trying making JagaBata.

I would not have been able to walk that bridge! A few years ago there was a story on BBC and in Japan Times about sightings of what were thought to be the extinct Japanese wolf. Apparently the claims were credible but not verified. There are supposed to be a lot of wolf shrines and memorabilia in Chichibu.
@kydeanderic20 күн бұрын
Oh neat, had not heard of those sightings.

Konnyaku is a corm from a weird plant called "Devil's Tongue" and it usually grows wild in slightly boggy forested areas in warm climates in Asia... It's vaguely related to Anthurium flowers which is grown as a decorative houseplant and Skunk Cabbage. You probably think it's a sea vegetable because it's used as a vegan alternative to some seafood products, as it can be slightly fishy tasting. It's a really weird plant when you look into its biology. I don't know if that species does it or not, but some in its genus can generate their own internal heat. That is bizarre for a plant. (can you tell I am a plant nerd? lol )
