There is a very good video about the environmental impact and cutting edge energy use of this mall. I believe it uses a combination renewable energy and industrial battery technology. Very interesting. It was posted about two or so years ago.

I wonder how much a phone would cost down there, not including da network an’ such…. Considering da taxes on things here, bet an iPhone 14 would probably cost da equivalent of like $700 US, but I’m probably wrong on dat!

No it will be the biggest in East Africa, Mall of Africa is at no 8 in SA. Fourways Mall is No1 but the biggest Mall in Africa is in Morocco.

​@@TebohoMoloi-gy3mu Buiilding a mall provide low salary jobs, the majority of merchandise will be made in foreign countries so only those who owe the stores or manufactures the products benefit the MOST from a mall, everyonelse are only customers. Agreed Africans DO need to make what they use to truly raise .
