I saw a video of a French guy cycling through Africa on his way to South Africa. He tends to be VERY critical of Africa's lack of developed countries. ...Until he got to BOTSWANA! He said, " Back to civilization. 24hr electricity & WIFI. Friendly people who weren't begging him for money. Excellent infrastructure as well." I couldn't believe he actually complimented everything about an African Nation!!

Just support your country mate without saying much rubbish, your country is still developing, your capital won’t even qualify to be a city but a mere town mate in most southern africa and east africa countries, i mean even east london in South africa is better developed, or bulawayo in Zimbabwe or mombasa in kenya are better cities and they are not capital cities, so chill out mate. hence claiming that a random guy hinted that he had gotten back to civilization when he reached botswana is horsesh*t honestly and even if it were true his opinion means nothing as we know Bots and where it falls in the pecking order.

@@ronaldtsotsomakays8094Botswana might lack in your eyes in terms of infrastructure but dude,we have everything in this small town we call a city,we don't lack compared to your so called developed countries.so we can't chill.we started everything from scratch in 1966,no white people nor Boers to help us,so we can't chill.Wodemaya is making things worse, our chill can not chill anymore because his videos are making us to appreciate,be grateful of our bushy, small developing country we call home.so,what must he say,a French cycler is the one who appreciated Botswana not the person who wrote this comment.dont come for him,its not him but a french guy who encountered "civilisation" here.he was rude yes.but dont come for our small developing country.all in all,We love Africa,we are all trying to make our countries great❤.

Miss Universe 1998-Mpule won her crown here in Trinidad and that was probably our 1st awareness of the beautiful nation that is Botswana. Thanks for this video-it brought back so many wonderful memories. I worked for USAID and was stationed at the University of Botswana from 2003-2004. So will be sharing this with many of my friends who do not have an image of this jewel of Africa.

Botswana is beautiful, this is what happens when resources are used correctly and for the greater good, diamonds, oil, gold etc sell it and build infrastructure and develop your people/free education, this is a win. As an African we should not need a VISA to travel around our own continent, by now we should have implemented a more efficient way that allows AFRICANS to move around, this would better the economy of each country. Great work Maya, Great work Botswana. 🐘

This country looks so nice. Their GDP is not that big like some of our disorganised countries, but see how they are perfectly planning for their citizens and utilising their resources. See how good leadership does! There was a successful story of Rwanda but Botswana is added on simply bcoz these countries have been developed by their own citizens. Nothing here inherited from colonisers. Big up Botswana government and people of Botswana❤❤. Love from the Pearl🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬

Massa thanks for the education. Interesting to know that there's an African country who's doing wonderful things for it's people. Africa can learn from this country. Government by the people & for the people. When there's equitable distribution of the wealth of the country there's less crime & corruption. Nuff respect Botswana Bless up 💕💕

Exactly, some of the countries are wealthier than this country but we are cursed by poor leadership, very selfish individuals working for their families. Botswana has leaders who put their country and people first. ❤
