Lovely property. Did you know that back in the day 44and 45 Baxtergate just one property? Have a word with the lovely Jenny next door and she will tell you the history of the property, and when it was divided into two 😊

Hello both, good start to the video. I've got tiles like that in my kitchen. Loved the panels in the living room, aged almost distressed in looks. However the warmth it gives to the room is supurb. For me, has to be gas fired cooker. Overall as an ex chef. Brilliant condition to create a fabulous meal & chatting to family and friends around the table. You could then all go upstairs to the massive bathroom for a few hours fun time splashing around. Not quite sure about the bath In the main bedroom. On suite, fine 😊Another nice touch. All the artwork fantastic. My one concern, climbing up those stairs (don't know about a chair or table on the landing. Oxygen might help 😊A unique video from you, if you could do it again. Not feeling this place. There's no character to it. Took it down the modern look and it's lost its character.. I've stayed in many places in Whitby where the owners have kept the oldy worlde look to it in keeping with Whitbys character but these haven't with this...its bland, bare, and nothing to get excited about. There are far more superior cottages in Whitby that look better than this. Sorry.

Decor is such personal taste. Like the bedrooms and the kitchen although not the dinning table and chairs. Find the living room cold except the nice real fire. Hate the internal doors and far too much wood panelling in general. Although it's clearly been done to a high standard. As I say it's all personal opinion.

I like it, apart from the floor tiles it's tastefully bland and that's what l like when l am renting. "Character" for one is a "Chintzy" nightmare for another. I'd happily rent that. 👍 It looks like a total rip out, remodelled & replastered, you'd have to be bonkers to do all that and try to turn back time.
