I love hunting in southeast loggers point I started a hunt there in the southeast stand at 15:00 and I had 9 mule deer bucks comin at the same time.Though I shot a 49.9 coyote down there I only kill coyotes down there in the southeast with 35.0 score or higher.Your vids and gunningamerz are the most helpful vids I have learned a lot from y'all

wer 66 Yeah someone in the forum noticed the same. I had set scene complexity to medium which is hard for my PC to do when running Fraps at the same time. At some point in the video I thought the game was going to crash. I wonder if Fraps caused delays in the logic, but the animation just kept happily playing in normal speed.

The Lee Enfield was an interesting choice. I'm a Kar98 person. In theory it has better ballistics than the .303. The 8x57 s.S Patrone sniper variant had a G1 BC of .595 and the Nosler partition is stated by Hornady to be .426. I have no idea what the ballistics of the '98 are like in game because I only ever shot long distance with it once...it didn't go too well.

Got a 52.796 Coyote yesterday. Shot it with a 12 GA Shotgun at 80 meters without no scope and shot it in the lungs. Possibly heart, cant remember

Nice video HooCairs. I tend to drag along the air rifle or crossbow to quietly kill those pesky male pheasants. Too bad there isn't a ignore species feature on the hunters mate. Finished watching the video. Was nice to see a seasoned hunter such as you struggle to get that big coyote. I think they are one of the most challenging animals to hunt. Of course you did in one hour what took me three days to do (curse you RNG god).

Had no end of trouble finding two 3.5kg coyotes for the Easter missions ended up shooting 30 coyotes before a got the 2 I needed, I prefer to set up a ground blind when I hear them call and use the caller about 100ft in front of the blind

I do what mostly everyone else does. I call for a fox or a coyote, then I move back around 30 meters and place a blind there. Then I sit and wait for the coyote or fox to show itself and shoot it from the blind once I get a good shot.

Real nice video HooCairs, as always enjoyed and lerend some new way to hunt. asecialy becous I'm playing the hunter for a bout a month now. And got the hang of hunting roe, red deer and wild boar. but I'm realy strugling whit moose hunts, tips would be grait even graiter would be if you coud make a video about moose hunting in red feather ps. my english sucks, becouse i'm form the Netherlands ( and my germain is even worst)

I know I'm really late, but for moose, they aren't too hard to hunt. You probably got it all down, but I'll tell you anyways. First off, moose have an awesome sense of smell, but their vision isn't very good. You can also get really close to them before taking the shot and they will hardly notice. I use B&C full set of camo to hunt moose, it works in *every* enviroment. So there's some info to get you started.

Have you found it makes any difference of which direction you point the caller in while your making the call?

+Paddle Popinator It doesn't. The game only remembers the position. Same goes for scent sprays. You can spray in the air, same affect as on ground or anywhere. The game only knows the coordinates where you stand.

Cheers thanks for that. Just another quick question, I noticed it didn't appear that you looked at the wind direction when deciding on your position to shoot. Is it the case that >30m the coyote smell isn't that great in game?

+Paddle Popinator I've been using the +30m rule for coyotes, red foxes and arctic foxes and it seems ideal regardless where the wind is from. I have some old notes that state that coyotes have an excellent smelling, but like said this distance works for me.

I see a lot of animals which HooCairs doesn't see. Like in his pheasant hunting video, there was a mule deer (maybe even a buck) in the corner of his screen, and it only showed like 3 times before it ran away when HooCairs was chasing that pheasant. But, I'm aware that these videos are focused on *one* particular animal.
